We recently did the half day trip on the lower Animas River and it was amazing! The scenery was beautiful but what made our trip was our guide Justin Meek. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He engaged with everyone on the raft and made sure we all had a great time. We would definitely do this again with Justin as our guide!

Our guide, Corbin was so personable, so considerate, so entertaining and so knowledgeable about the river and area our group had an absolute blast!! We had a pretty diverse group including my very capable and athletic nephew in his 20s, my sporty husband in his 40s, and my two sisters and I who enjoy leisurely strolls (40s and 50s). Corbin kept all of our levels of athleticism in mind and this otherwise terrifying Class 2-3 river felt absolutely thrilling and just so much FUN! We had two other rafts before and after us with relatives as part of our family reunion and Corbin was constantly on the lookout for them and their safety as well. He took pictures of us and even the other rafts and just made this entire trip so memorable.

Had an AMAZING time on Sunday with Micah and Kayla. We were the only group for 8:30 and we loved it. Micah is hands down the best guide yall have. Watch out for the river dolphins and Beatrice. 😂

Great experience! We especially enjoyed Taz, our guide. She was very knowledgeable about the terrain, and answered all questions intelligently. This was not just a rafting trip, it was an experience! Our family, both rafts, got to swim and battle each other in water fights several times because of Taz and it was a hoot! We would definitely do it again! Thanks Mild to Wild and Taz!!

I did a jeep tour with Art he was so nice and he made the tour so fun and he shared alot of great information of the mountains and the views were stunning and the next day I went on the Mesa verde tour with Bella along with 11 other people she was also very good and she knew her stuff of the area and the cliff dwellings. Mesa verde was also a cool place to visit. Justin was my guide on the whitewater rafting and he was cool

Took my birthday trip to Moab and this tour was a must! Had a blast and would love to come back and do more difficult tours. The water was freezing and refreshing, and the sights incredible. Highly recommend our tour guide, Taz!

Had a great experience today with the 1/2 day rafting trip. It was a gentle float with a few fun rapids, and our guide, Claudia, was a scientist who had lots of cool information to share about the river, the landscape, and the wildlife.

Great experience. We did the 1/2 day float on the Animas River on 6/30/35. Nathanial was our guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. He was excellent at his skill and had great communication skills. He had a group including 2 adults and four kids (13, 9, 9, 6). My 9 year old son wanted to roast him on this review… but I decided on the more professional approach! If all the staff is as great as Nathanial I 100% recommend Mild to Wild!

We had a great time this morning on the half day San Miguel trip near Telluride. Nate, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us navigate the Class II and some III waters. It was so much fun and our family had a blast. Would definitely recommend this rafting company and would do it again!

The trip was exciting from start to finish, and Jason’s energy and humor kept the whole group engaged and smiling the entire way. Great day on The River

Had a blast with Jason as our motivated and helpful guide! Lots of cool spray on a warm day, beautiful scenery along Sawpit and Placerville, and fun surprises with dogs and kayakers joining at points in time. Two 16 year olds engaged in outdoor activity was a bonus. Got a good arm workout and rowing lesson. Entire crew was fun and friendly and truly worked hard to make it a great experience. Friendly water gun spray off a neighbors deck was funny touch as well. Would def go again!

Well worth the money -

Bella our guide was amazing! She had a wealth of information she shared before we even arrived to Mesa Verde. Her knowledge was remarkable. We learned so much. Cliff Palace was stunning! We got lucky to experience some Pueblo cuisine of Fry Cake! Well worth the money of the tour! Bella took us to other sights within the park before picnic lunch and Cliff Palace. We could not have had same experience of Mesa Verde on our own.

Mild to Wild guides were wonderful!! We had Justin and he was fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable. He was also wonderful with my 5 and 7 year old. I highly recommend this company. I used them several times throughout the years and never had any issues. Always a great experience!
