This is the second time we’ve gone rafting with Mild to Wild, and both trips were absolutely amazing! Our guide, Avery, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the area and full of fun facts. She even knew exactly where to spot baby mountain goats, and we actually saw them up close! I’ve never been that close to a mountain goat before—it was incredible. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back for a third trip!

In all honesty, this rafting trip left me utterly distraught and extremely disappointed. In all my 21 years of life in the beautiful state of Utah I have been lucky enough to float different parts of the Colorado river multiple times a year for the past decade. Never once did I set expectations for my experience. Always got on the water and had the time of my life. From navigating rapids, to sharing laughs and food with friends and family. Last year was my first time discovering that there is a little spot on the Colorado River, in Moab where you can pull over for a quick stop and get a free hot dog from one of the locals. He explained he's out there every year on the 4th of July only, handing out hot dogs. I loved the tradition so much I was dead set on participating every year. When our guide this year asked "What's everyone's reasons for coming out on the river today?" We explained our traditional goal. She proceeded to shut us down say it "wasn't happening". I'm very sad to say I watched my glizzy fade away this year. I will be trying again next year. I now know to never book with Mild to Wild again. Thanks Claudia. Only other regret is not jumping ship when I saw that hot dog sign, next year Chris.

The ride with Pickles

It was the 4th of July and our river guide was dressed as a pickle! Apparently she loves pickles (or so she said), so I nicked named her "Pickles". Sorry, I don't remember her real name. The trip down the Colorado River was magical. Great time, great scenery, great weather, great fun. Highly recommended.

Upper Animas White Water Rafting

This trip was amazing! Kip, Nathanial, and Trey were the perfect guides to go with. Couldn’t have asked for more professional, personable, and knowledgeable bunch. Even with low flow the upper animas was well worth the trip - lots of thrills and almost entirely a rapid. Perfect trip for fit people that want something more exciting. I have one rafting trip in browns canyons and a few runs through a Charlotte white water center prior to this trip. Would go on another trip with this company and would request the same guides if possible. Thanks Kip, Nathanial and Trey!

Far exceeded our expectations!!!

Cat was simply amazing!! She made us feel like family and we laughed the whole time! She was open to going where we wanted to go but had some suggestions that exceeded our expectations! She even took us up to an old silver mine and showed us how to break open rocks that contained silver!! How fun is that?!?!?

Great multi day rafting

We had a great time rafting the Green through Gates of Lodore with Jackson, Max, Conrad and Jeff. All fantastic guides who made the trip extra special for my husband’s birthday. The food was fantastic, the best of any rafting trip we have been on. Highly recommend!

Simply Incredible!

Simply incredible! This was my first white water experience and it surpassed all expectations! Our guide was Rob who was a beast, super knowledgeable, safety oriented, and just all around great personality. The first half of the trip was thrilling, the second half was exciting but had a more chill vibe giving time to take pictures and really able to take in all the views and nature. Could not rave more about this experience! Must do again! Thank you!

We had the most amazing experience with our Gates of Lodore rafting trip with Mild to Wild. Jordan and her crew were great. They were kind, helpful and made the most delicious food!! The canyon was stunning and the water refreshing. My family of 5 had a great time. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking adventure without going to extremes.
