Had a great time. The crew is great and the boat is fantastic. Would definitely recommend for families as there were a bunch on board.

We had the most amazing time and saw lots of beautiful fish! Went SNUBA as well and it was SO worth it. An experience we will never forget. I would definitely recommend it! The staff was very friendly too and our SNUBA instructor made us feel really comfortable and safe. Highlight of our trip. They also pulled rubbish out of the ocean on our boat ride back, and was amazing to see a company taking action. Really pleased with the overall experience and hope to come back soon. Also saw turtles and whales on the boat ride back.

Unfortunately we went out on the snorkeling excursion March 21st and the weather did not cooperate. I had emailed a few days prior on potential cancellation based on high winds and safety concerns. We did not hear back so decided we would go and give it a try. The captain did give the option of getting off prior to leaving but did not mention a full refund, rather joining another day. Unfortunately the winds were so high that we weren’t able to go to either Molokini or turtle cove. Rather we rode on the boat for roughly 1.5 hours in high winds to relocate near the coast and returned to the dock early. The snorkeling was subpar as well as the SNUBA that my husband and youngest son went on. We were also not able to use the slide. We completely understand weather playing into the excursion. I did reach out and I received a response on joining another day which unfortunately couldn’t work based on our departure date. When I inquired on a partial or full refund based on experience I never received a response. We recognize this year is challenging but would recommend that future participants understand the captain will not cancel that you will need to make the decision 24 hours in advance based on the weather. We paid not only for the excursion but also the SNUBA which was not worth the money based on location. Thank you Ray for response, the below is my email response from your email. Oh and my apologies I emailed on the 18th but we went out on the 21st(sun). My initial email sent was in advance of our excursion which was two (2) days prior so within the cancellation which I included below along with your response on the 23rd. I don’t mean to have a disagreement with you and happy to discuss. We have snorkeled in both Maui and Honolulu and have not experienced winds and weather like we had on the day we went out. We are a young family of four. We booked the snorkeling trip with Maui Snorkeling and we’re extremely pleased with the tour. Of course the waters off Maui are very beautiful. What made it more enjoyable was the crew of Maui snorkeling! They are extremely professional, efficient, well organized and courteous. My 11yo enjoyed the snorkeling experience and it was a wonderful birthday gift for her ❤️

The staff was very professional and very helpful. It was my first time to Snuba and the instructor explained everything thoroughly and made it an enjoyable experience! I highly recommend Maui Snorkel! We were with the Lewis and Clark Wedding crew and the staff made it a fun memorable experience!

Had the best time on our trip! Easy to book, easy to get there, awesome and knowledgable crew. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We saw whales, turtles, eel, tons of fishies and slid down the slide when we were done snorkeling! So fun! Thank you!

Great! Captain Mark and his crew were super! An awning for the top deck would be nice! We got lunch and unlimited snacks which the crew was gracious enough to handed out and make sure you had everything you needed the entire trip.

Me and my husband had a great experience at Maui Snorkeling Lani Kai. The crew on the boat was very helpful and responsive. We already knew snorkeling but they were giving a tutorial to those who don't. They were also making sure that we don't go off too far as it gets difficult to come back if it's windy. The day we had our trip was unexpectedly very windy to open the slide. They offered if we want to reschedule but we were okay without the slide. Snorkeling was not affected by winds at all. We saw 3 turtles and too many to count fishes. They were also offering half wet suit as it was a little cold day and charged $10/person for it (we took it). Food and soft drinks were good. They gave an option to BYOB and we took some beer with us. We had fun!

We had a group of 12. The price was great we all had a wonderful time. They have suits that fit all parties and offer food and beverages. Also the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip. I would do this a second time during my stay if the bookings weren’t already full for the week. Glad I got to finally do some snorkeling, but wasn’t even my favorite part. The views, the boat ride and the crew were top notch. Cruising on beautiful blue ocean, watching the whales and learning the history/science of the island formation rocked my world. Captain Mark knew his stuff, he was able to answer all my biology questions. Jen and the rest of the crew were incredibly happy and helpful. I was surprised most other riders didn’t bring a water bottle. I recommend to pack a personal hydration source for yourself and your family. But if you forget, the crew will feed and hydrate you to your heart’s content. I was a ding dong and forgot to buy a shirt at the end. Fortunately, I reached out and they will ship to me :) But they are cool shirts, so be sure to remember to pick up on your way out! One final thought, of all the other charters at the crater, Lani Kai was by far the best set up. The SLIDE, the capacity(not packed in) and the crew where far above the rest. Amazing trip! Excellent snorkeling, and whales watching! The Crew was great and paid extra special attention to our young boys and their needs. The Captain is the best, very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. We would book everyday if we could :)
