Crew members were friendly and provided good services. However, room to improve as follow. Our group has 6 members, 4 of them needs prescription (Optical) masks but there were only two of them got it as there were no more available. My observation telling that there were not a lot of people need such mask. Thus, I believe the estimation in quantify of the mask needs to be review and the best is to keep enough mask on the boat to fulfill snorkelers need. Best way to ask customers who want the optical mask when they sign up the snorkel tour.

Great crew! I am not a swimmer but the crew had all the gear to help me snorkel. The food was very good ! The views are amazing. We did a 5 hour morning tour and it was brilliant! Please take anti nausea pills or ginger chews before you go as you can get sick otherwise.

Had a great time with my brother on the Lani Kai! The team was very professional and friendly. I went Snuba diving with Jake which was a blast & has made me want to get scuba certified. Highly recommend the optional Snuba dive if you go. Mahalo to the whole crew on the Lani Kai!

We went out on a great day. Molokini was a bit choppy, but we still snorkeled there. I got a bit sea sick there, but the crew was very helpful. We didn't got to turtle town, but did go to another place with ton of turtles and was better snorkeling then molokini was. The parking was free, due the the company not being in business anymore. So double check before you pay!

We used Maui Snorkeling Lani Kai for our excursion to Molokini while on vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly and personable, the equipment was in good condition, the meals were good, and the activity itself was incredible! The visibility in Molokini was crystal clear and we saw lots of cool animal life, and in our second stop I did get to see a turtle! It was a fun trip with a fun crew and I definitely recommend

We had a great time on the Lani Kai! I did not have very high expectations based on a snorkeling trip we took in Cancun a few years ago but this crew changed my mind about snorkeling charters. The crew was very helpful, kind, and funny. The captain was a laid back dude with a great taste in music! The Molokini crater was breathtaking. We didn't see a tremendous variety of sea life compared to the shores around the resort but that is no fault of the captain and crew. After that we went closer to shore to an area where the sea turtles come in to get their shells cleaned and we were able to see a couple of turtles. They were not very large but I had never seen a sea turtle before so it was awesome. I hope that we can return another time at a different time of year just to see if the seas change. We will definitely book with Maui Snorkeling again!

Went on the morning tour, it was amazing. Despite me getting incredibly sick towards the end. I was able to SNUBA dive at the first spot and would recommend that to anyone. A little overwhelming at first but once you get use to it it’s magical how long you can stay under with all the sea life. The boat was a little crowded, but clean and well managed. Staff was there to give me suggestions on how to battle the nausea I was feeling.

Awesome crew who knew how to take care of guests! Crater had some rough waters so take Dramamine and pack some ginger ale! The crew had some for us and was attentive to those not feeling well! Thank you for an incredible experience and taking us to see sea turtles and more!

This tour was an incredible experience. I had never snorkeled before and it was beautiful! My boyfriend does not know how to swim and he snorkeled comfortably with the the floating devices provided. I also signed up for SNUBA and the guide was very good at making you feel at ease. I only wish (and this was on me for not speaking up) I had snorkeled before doing the SNUBA so I would have been less panicky about breathing under water and enjoyed the experience more. Crew was very attentive to the needs of the customers - highly recommend!

We had a great time on the morning trip. The crew was awesome and always seemed to be right there offering coffee or just to chat. The snorkeling in Maui is fantastic! My 12 year old son loved the slide and jumping off the boat at the 2nd stop on the trip. That's something that really sets this boat apart from the others. The Captain opted for Coral Gardens instead of Turtle town on our trip and we loved it... plenty of turtles to see and we were the only boat there so less people!

Maybe the best snorkeling trip I have ever experienced. Good size boat, very accommodating staff, served breakfast and lunch and best of all, excellent snorkeling spots.

Be careful they restrict you to a mask, even if you can't wear one, then make you wear theirs that wont fit everyone. So you may be stuck on an expensive boat ride. They do not let you drink your byob and charge you extra for everything. Not at all worth the money will not get a recommendation from me :(

Cannot give a review based on the trip itself, as my group was left at the docks STRANDED but based off previous reviews we DID NOT MISS MUCH. The confirmation e-mail clearly states “we RECOMMEND you arrive 30 minutes prior to start of trip for check-in, we arrived 10-minutes prior only to be told after circling the dock for 5 minutes and no answer the business phone on the website that our boat had already taken off. We contacted “Maui Snorkeling” company and were put on the phone with the “manager” Ray, who same day was very friendly and notified us he would call us back ASAP if a spot opened up to reschedule as at the moment there were NO SPOTS in the next coming days. Next day we call back to check on status as we were still interested in the trip, were told by another employee they had all slots available. Two-days later, we finally got Ray on the phone only to be told it wasn’t his problem and we were unable to be re-booked nor’ provided a refund. CROOKS. Horrible customer service. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. We have been on multiple international trips and have never been treated with such disgust and un-professionalism.

Had a wonderful time at two locations where we did snorkeling - Molokini Crater and a secluded location where the captain guaranteed us some sea turtles. That was the highlight of my trip for sure - seeing sea turtles. Having Leila, marine biologist, on board to guide us with SNUBA was a great experience. They served a small lunch which was tasty and pleasant. Breakfast served also which I wasn’t expecting. Wetsuit rental $10 which I would recommend. Saw some interesting fish and coral and sea turtles. Beautiful sunny day in Maui. Pleasant experience, totally worth it!

I loved that it was a woman crew! Friendly, fun, relaxed but yet professional and responsive to any situation that could come up. We had a blast, my husband had a little difficulty with his head gear but was able to switch it out. The crew took take of him and I was able to go snorkeling and see fantastic colors of fish and coral. I saw a long yellow fish but don’t know what it was. I like that they have BYB it helped feel more like a snorkeling adventure than a drinking adventure.
