The highlight of my trip to Maui for sure!!! Captain Mark, Emily, Morgan, and Sam were so fun and knowledgeable. They made it an awesome day! So beautiful! We will do again!

This snorkeling trip was by far the best part of our Maui vacation! It is hard to pick a favorite thing when you are in paradise but we had such a great adventure with the Captain and Crew of the Lani Kai. Captain Mark is extremely knowledgeable and shared so much fun information about the whales, coral, & turtles throughout the trip. Even the kids were talking about the fun facts they learned. Emily, Sam & Morgan worked so well together and made us all feel so at ease and able to just relax and enjoy all that the trip had to offer. We would highly recommend taking the morning snorkeling excursion, and will definitely join Maui Snorkeling again the next time we get to go to Maui.

We booked the excursion with plans of going to Molokini and kids getting to go on the slide. That's what we paid for but not what we got. We boarded the boat and at the end of pretty lengthy briefing (10-15 minutes) we were blind sided with the new plans that didn't include molokini and were likely not going to include the waterside either. (How hard would it have been to tell us this at the beginning of the briefing, they would lose business this why they dont) Now they did give us about 1-2 minutes to decide to leave the ship for our refund after we are all settled in, we had been planning this trip for quite some time and it's pretty shady to let paying customers board the boat and then tell them the new plans and then give us a minute or 2 to decide if we want to stay or go. We have a family of eight and by the time we were all done discussing that it wasn't worth it to stay on the boat we ran out of time and the boat left the dock. I think this company has been doing this long enough that they could have forecasted that we were not able to go to molokini at least an hour ahead and could have sent all of their paying customers a courtesy email. We went up around the corner about 4 miles from the dock (a 6 minute drive in a car) to a spot right off the shore we could have easily drove to free of charge. I just don't understand how a company can feel good about treating there customers this way. Especially for the price. I will say the deck hands were great.

This was one of the most amazing experience. The crew made us comfortable as we were beginners. They also accommodated vegetarian lunches for us. Its a great experience and they made sure that they stopped to make us watch Whale whenever possible. I highly recommend this tour when in Maui.

NO WONDER OBAMA CHOSE THIS BOAT TOUR THE DAY BEFORE US!! All I can say is WOW!! We have done several snorkeling tours over the years and this was by far, the best and most memorable. The crew was fantastic. So helpful, fun, and friendly. The 2 destinations we went for the snorkeling were gorgeous and there were fish and turtles everywhere. Probably the most amazing part of the day was when we were “mugged” by whales. A term we learned from the captain, meaning whales surrounding the boat, playing, and saying hi. A mama whale and her calf literally swam under the boat and came up to play and say hello a few yards from where we were. It was truly a magical experience our family will never forget. The slide also added extra fun for all of us and our 7 year old especially loved this. President Obama, Michelle, and his friends chartered this boat and crew the day before we went out and it is no surprise this is what they chose…it is the BEST!

This was the best experience we have had on the island of Maui. The crew was phenomenal, it was obvious that they really enjoy their job. The snorkeling was great, we got to sea a Monk seal, whales swam right under our boat. The entire family loved the giant inflatable slide. I can't recommend this company enough!!

My family and I have been on the Lani Kai many times in our trips to Maui. I have always considered it to be good value for the whole package. Ray and his crew are top notch , the food and beverages are excellent and seeing the island from a boat is terrific. Molikini Crater and Turtle Town are amazing places to visit and we try to make it part of our itinerary when visiting Maui.

What a wonderful day out with Maui Snorkeling. The crew was incredibly helpful, friendly and available when needed. The captain was insightful and answered everyone's questions. The food was very good and fresh, and the boat had ample space. Whales everywhere, sea turtles to see and a military plane flying around us close to the water made for a memorable day. It was well worth the fair price, and I would do it again.

Trip was amazing. Molokini itself was a little underwhelming until a huge manta ray swam through. Saw whales the whole time. The staff also provided us with a boogie board with a make shift mask like hole built into it so my 3 year old could check out he fishes and turtles. The lunch was a variety of deli sandos made by a local deli, not a large super market. Veggie options were available as well. Instead of taking us to Turtle Town, where everyone else goes, the captain took us to the cliffs heading to Lahaina. The water there was crystal clear, with turtles all over and dead winds. This was the most amazing part. They then dropped the slide out and just made the whole thing friggen awesome. Super friendly staff and the captain knows whats up, couldnt ask for more.

My family and I (8 of us) had a wonderful experience. It was my first time snorkeling, and the crew really made me feel at ease. They went above and beyond! There was a medical emergency on board as we returned to the harbor, and the crew did everything they could to help the passenger, and to also provide privacy for her. I highly recommend this adventure!

Awesome crew and an incredible experience. The crew was very nice and friendly. It was great chatting with them. The captain was able to spot whales and turtles and tell us exactly where to snorkel to see everything.
