We had an awesome tour. The Napalli coast is beautiful. The crew made it fun by riding the high waves which was super cool. The visit to the caves was amazing. The sandwich was good. We got to see lots of dolphins. Overall a great tour.

This tour was absolutely spectacular!!! I can’t say enough good things. It was a day I will never forget. The boat was fantastic. If I remember correctly, they had the boat specifically built for them. The captain did an amazing job. There was never a point when I didn’t feel safe. The captain took us into the mouth of caves and managed to keep the boat centered so we could all take pictures while the tide was rolling in. It’s quite clear he has been around boats all his life. He was happy to share all the history of the sites we were seeing. He is very proud of his heritage and enjoys educating others on the rich history of the Nepali coast. The staff on the boat was fantastic. They mingle with us and shared their knowledge. They were funny, approachable, and again truly loved their work. We saw 2 types of dolphins and a double whales tails! Each time we stopped to watch the marine life the captain was great about steering the boat in the best direction for photos. As well as patiently let us observe the beauty.The coastline is absolutely spectacular and truly the only way to see it is from the ocean.The sunset that night was absolutely amazing and the captain positioned the boat for us to all sit and watch the sun go down. What a special day. Thank you for making memories for all of us.

Went on the morning Napali Coast tour on the Na Pali Kai III and it was great! Since we were going in January, I asked for advice regarding which boat tour to book based on our needs. The captain and crew were great and the coastline is stunning! Make sure you jump in the water when you have the opportunity!

Excellent tour! One person in our party said it was the best excursion he has ever been on. Makana, Ethan, and Lillie were driver, and excellent tour guides. We were lucky enough to see 10 or more whale breaches, a sea turtle, and a seal.

We had a wonderful tour with Makuna Charters of the Napali Coast. The captain and his team were professional, knowledgeable and customer service oriented. We saw amazing scenery, dolphins and whales along with the magical ocean and coastline. We highly recommend their tour.

What a cool experience! Unfortunately we did not get to snorkel due to the swells and mother nature, understandably so. We got to see bottle nose dolphins, spinner dolphins, humpback whales, flying fish, birds, etc. The captain and the crew were very accommodating and helpful; knowledgeable, safe, caring, etc. they made the experience the best they could under the circumstances and they did great! 👍🏼 would recommend and can’t wait to go back. Thank you!!!

We had a fantastic day on the water. We snorkeled, saw the amazing Napali Coast, Sea Caves. Enjoyed our hosts so much, Ethan was great and sang to us all day. Lilliana was very nice and knowledgeable, learned a lot about Hawaiian culture. The Captain was also very nice and handled the boat in some pretty big swells! They served a nice home made lunch and then we went on to whale watching ! We saw a couple whales completely out of the water and several tail and fin slaps, and a group of dolphins. We did it all!

The Na Pali coast is truely a majestic place. It was even better experience being guided by Mike a true hawaiian local who shares stories of Kauai history with aloha spirit. His crew were friendly- helpful- and I could tell they really loved their job. I am so glad we chose Makana charters- I highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Na Pali coast tour on the Na Pali Kai III. Captain Rob and his two crew mates were very friendly. They showed personal interest in everyone on the boat. They shared fascinating details about the history of Na Pali coast Kauai. The scenery on the Na Pali coast is absolutely gorgeous. The deli sandwiches, chips, and drinks were good. As a bonus, we were able to see numerous humpback whales, spinner dolphins, and bottlenose dolphins. The beautiful sunset at the end of the day was the icing on the cake.
