What an amazing day. We had close encounters with humpbacks (2/28/26), perfect weather, snorkeling time, and especially, the skipper and his crew were outstanding. Glad we chose the big boat, the Na Pali Kai. It was stable in the water, and moved with speed and grace through the modest surf. Great commentary from the crew about the land, the water, even the history and culture of the island. Our whole hearted recommendation!

What a great day along the Na Pali coast! Our Captain and crew shared vast amounts of information regarding the history of the people of Kauai and the geographic terrain as well as geological events that formed the coastline and caves and the wildlife of the area. We were fortunate to encounter numerous whales breaching near the boat, a monk seal sleeping on the shore and spinner dolphins playing around the boat. The day was incredible. I'd suggest this tour and gladly go again. The boat was beautiful and had good facilities including a bathroom on board. The lunch was solid. Sandwiches the same way I'd make 'em. Excellent tour and crew.

The highlight of our trip to Kauai! Our family with kids ages 18, 16 and 11 had a blast! We were surprised by all the dolphins surrounding the boat, the whales breaching in the distance, and of course, the Stunning Na Pali Coast! The guides were so friendly and personable, funny and very knowledgeable about Kaua'i! We enjoyed the history lessons and their professionalism.Highly recommend!!

This boat tour really showed us the beauty of the Na Pali coast. The staff was informative and helpful. We saw many dolphins, but regretfully no whales. My husband ended up getting seasick, so if you are prone to that, make sure you have meds. The water is rough and choppy. The staff did an amazing job with the children on board, even jumping into the water with one who was a little scared.

Excellent tour!! Highly recommend!! A’a and Tim were both great. The Seiko was perfect size and was a lot of fun. Saw dolphins, whales, sea caves, and lots more. Also got to snorkel. A must do when in Kauai!

Excellent day! We saw dolphins, beautiful Waterfalls, earth shattering amazing spectacular views, whales, even a turtle while snorkeling. Crew was friendly and informative. The history of Kauai intriguing. Even the sandwiches were delicious.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on this tour. The captain and the guide were genuinely kind, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable from start to finish. They created such a great atmosphere for our family. We went out with our two kids, and it turned into an unforgettable day. We saw whales and dolphins, and even had the chance to swim in the middle of the ocean — truly breathtaking. Everything felt safe, well-organized, and thoughtfully guided. This was 100% worth the money and one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, memorable ocean experience.

I can’t say enough good! We had the best experience! The staff were friendly and personable. The sandwiches were wholesome and delicious! The Amelia K was incredible how it handled the rough waters. We had such a great time!

Bucket list trip. Solid crew in constant attention to comfort. Views almost didn’t look real. Saw loads of dolphins, whales (flapping hello repeatedly). Trip back was quite tough on the back!

We had a good trip. Saw/joined a spinner dolphin stampede! Also had a "HEAT RUN" of humpback whales with 8 males chasing one female. Nāpali coast was beautiful. Only negative was that it was a "trade winds" day, so too murky for snorkeling and several of my family got seriously sea sick. Crew was great though.

We were very happy that we booked with a local family business. Captain Mike was awesome and a shout out to Ethan and Charlie. Ethan provided us with a lot of laughs. Amelia K was a great boat to be on and nobody was seasick with choppy conditions on the return. It was great to hear of the captain’s family history and his connection with the land. Highly recommend this tour.
