Reece and Tony were awesome. They were knowledgeable and personable and did everything they could to make the tour about us. We had the BEST time. Reece handled the boat beautifully the water‘s got a little rough and we had a great time.. definitely a must do next time we come to Kauai. We would recommend that to anybody.

Epic Whale watch and Snorkle Molokini with captain Matt and First mate Shelby. The knowledge of the Whales was great and the captain knew exactly where to go. Front row seats to breaches pods of whales. The boat was smooth. We went on the Raft out of Kihei Harbor. Easy parking free. And easy on and off boats with bathrooms and showers. The food was great. The whole day was the best boat experience so far on Maui. Good music good times. Absolutely a deal for everything they do for you. I tipped the crew $40 because I was so thrilled.

The trip was absolutely amazing and everyone aboard was knowledgeable and I learned so much. They provided lunch and offered me with a gluten free choice which was so kind. The trip itself was smooth and we saw so much. we went through batches of dolphins, jumped in and snorkeled in a cove and then went to find whales which was humbling. Over all from start to finish it was an amazing, just so amazing. I highly recommend

We had an amazing experience on the Amelia K. The Captain and crew were informative and friendly. They love their jobs. The history of the land and people along with the pod of dolphins and numerous whale stings made this a trip of a lifetime.

The best tour thus far! The Captain and all his crew on the Amelia K are native Hawaiian and provided so much history along with a gorgeous trip along the Napali coast! I highly recommend!

Incredible tour, and incredible tour guides. Wildlife and scenery were incredibly beautiful. Went into caves, saw whales and dolphins. Very fun speeding along the water. I got a tad seasick and still would do the tour over again, the views and memories are totally worth it.

Wow 😲 Truly the highlight of our trip! We saw many whales, thousands of dolphins! We had about an hour for snorkeling (all gear provided) and lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed God’s wondrous creations. #HowgreatThouart It was an awe inspiring, even a spiritual experience. Everyone on the tour was smiling, I even shed a few happy tears. The crew, Amelia K boat and amenities were perfect. The crew has great social skills and spent time with each of us while answering our many questions. I appreciated the fun, respectful crew. No foul stories or language. Music was fun and the right volume. They shared a love for and respect for the history of the island, very informative. They have perfected this business. So glad we did this 5 hour experience compared to short helicopter ride. Will save that for another time.

The boat tour was wonderful! The staff helped make it such a good experience. We saw whales and dolphins, the cave, unbelievable scenery, and snorkeling for those who wanted to. A nice light lunch and as many cold soft drinks, water as you wanted.

Captain Mike and his experienced crew took us for a once in a lifetime cruise with humpback whales, Hawaiian monk seals, honu turtles and then to snorkle among numerous fish. 1000% recommend you book with Makana Charters!!

Wonderful experience! We did an afternoon charter in Feb - which includes whale watching instead of snorkeling. It was an amazing tour, very well run, with a friendly captain and crew. We had great weather and saw many whales including a mama whale teaching her baby how to breach and tail slap. We also saw turtles, spinner dolphins, and a seal! The Na Pali coast is breathtaking and a must see in Kauai. Everyone has a place to sit down on padded seats in the boat and there is space for standing at the front if you want to walk around. It was well worth the money!

We had a great experience with Makana! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the boat captain was great. The ride back gets a little chilly (we visited in February), so if you get cold easily, bring layers.

My husband and I enjoyed our boat tour. We came the first week of March saw whales, dolphins, and beautiful turquoise seas. The crew and captain made our trip very enjoyable. They had lots of knowledge and were very personable and fun to be around. I highly recommend Makana Charters!
