What a wonderful afternoon with Cap'n Mike and his great crew. Really enjoyed everything about this trip boating along the coast - even got to swim and the water was perfect. Best money we've spent in Hawaii so far.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the NaPali Coast tour on the Amelia K this week. Mike is an incredible Skipper, a native of Kauai, very knowledgeable of the history and culture of the island. He was able to maneuver the catamaran into several caves, even under a waterfall. The NaPali cliffs are unreal, hard to describe. We saw humpback whales on the way to the cliffs and on the return trip and bottlenose dolphins. In addition to Mike, Jaz and Kana, the other Amelia K crew, were equally amazing, informative, and ensured everyone stayed safe. I highly recommend the Makana Amelia K tours. Dwayne & Debbie

Just recently we went with Makana Charters Amelia boat tour which was 5 hours long. What a 5 hours! What a beautiful, wonderful, mysterious places we seen! One of the best days of our trip to Kauai! The Captain and the crew were the most precious, helpful hosts! They went over and beyond to accommodate us, and answered all of our questions! I recommend to everybody this tour, believe me you will be Not disappointed! Thank you very much for a wonderful afternoon!

Hands down one of the best boat charter experiences I’ve been on. The team was engaging, interactive, and knowledgeable. They cared a lot about our safety but knew how to have fun! I would recommend this tour for any family visiting Kauai.

This exceeded my already high expectations! Truly memorable and fantastic. It wasn’t only the sights, it was also the genuine friendliness of the crew (descended from people of the area) and the superb narration. They were flexible to take advantage of opportunities. For us it was a mother and child whale, dolphins, and a swimming sea turtle, all of which we were extremely close to the boat. Expert navigation of the boat, including into cave mouths. We were all refreshed by jumping into the water, and being blessed (soaked if we went up front) by a waterfall! The fluted cliffs are a must see. Learned of Kaua’i history and customs as they related to the cliffs and area. Highly recommend.

We did an 8AM morning tour with Captain Mike, Elijah and Jazzy. They did an amazing job finding a clean spot to snorkel and see fish and sea turtles. There were also plenty of dolphin pods and humpback whales that were passing through the area. It was an awesome experience having them share their culture with us.

The tour with Mikana Charters was well done. The only way to experience the beauty of the Na Pali Coast. The Captain is a superb pilot. He expertly traversed sea caves and tricky surf with ease while providing a wonderful and often humorous commentary. This is a not to miss experience.

The tour was AMAZING! Better we could ever imagined! Mike, Jazzy & Elijah did an amazing job taking us to the beautiful Napali coast safe and sound. The boat was big, clean and comfortable. And everything we learned was priceless! Amazing job you guys! Definitely recommended!

What a great tour and team! A special BRAVO to Jazzy - she was awesome! The team packed our tour with snorkeling, dolphins, whales, safety, and personal touches… but their “storytelling of the magnificent Na’Pali Coast” was the star of the show! We’ve been on tours in London, Paris, Italy…. but this one we shall not forget!

Pics don't do it justice. We had an amazing time. These people really are a group of true Hawaiians. I have been to four Hawaiian islands and the island of Kauai tied with the island of Hawaii. They are very special. Mauie and Oahu Are worth going to but Kauai and Hawaii are my favorites. Mahalo.

Mike was an excellent captain and navigated the boat to give us breath taking views. Jazzy and Elijah narrated and made sure we had fun experiences. The crew was excellent at spotting dolphin and we even had an unexpected pod of whales to show up. We appreciated the crew finding us an alternate spot for snorkeling since the original spot was too murky. The boat’s seats were comfortable and it handles the waves so well and very steady. We were able to get so close to the Napali coast and caves. An overall amazing tour!

The Napali Coast tour on the Amelia K was wonderful! The three leaders that supported our tour were all great---full of information and knowledge about all that we were seeing and appropriately focused on safety yet also fun--especially enjoyed Evan's singing. The scenery was stunning and the crew was great at helping us go to the front of the boat to get a better view. I also love seeing the dolphins and hearing the information from our naturalist about them and seeing a sea turle in the water. It was a great outing!

Amazing cruise! Captain very experienced, whole team very friendly to the Hawaiian spirit! Amelia K is a very comfortable , strong and big boat! If you want a Na Pali Coast unique cruise this should be your first choice!
