Honestly this Na Pali Coast boat tour definitely made the list for top 5 best experiences of my life!! Capt Makana, Ethan, and Charlie were awesome and treated everyone like family. The weather blessed us with calm water and sunshine. We also saw a pod of dolphins, a few sea turtles, and a goat. 10/10 recommend!!

My family had a great time with Makana Charters. Safety was a top priority and fun was a close second! They even helped me overcome my fear of jumping off the boat (only if you want to) so that me and my family were able to jump together and make a core memory! They also gave us so much history and told us how they are and have been connected to the land for so long, which made this so much more than a boat ride. The views you will experience are unmatched, from the cliffs to the ocean and a once in a lifetime secret stop. Thank you guys for sharing your culture in that secret stop, that was very special and moving to me. Out of four islands and six excursions, this was my whole family’s favorite one. Thank you to our Makana Ohana 🤙🏾

I’ve now sailed Nā Pali twice with Makana Charters. The crew are fantastic. I have mobility challenges and they were very helpful getting me onboard. The scenery is amazing. There is nothing like having spinner dolphins put on a show in the turquoise water as you duck in and out of sea caves and take in the beautiful cliffs and waterfalls. This is great value and a wonderful way to see this piece of paradise.

Makana Charters were great! Their NaPali morning tour on Seiko 2 with captains Kona and Sean was our trip #1. The experience was lovely, fantastic crew, gorgeous views, favorable weather, and unexpected marine life spotting. Captain Kona and Sean, we excellent host. They kept us safe and gave helpful instructions and insight. They were super knowledgeable about the history of the island and attentive to the needs of each person on the charter. Book it!

Amazing trip! The views were indescribable, absolutely breathtaking. The crew were awesome. They shared their Hawaiian heritage with us and told us all about what we were seeing throughout the trip. The weather was perfect and they were able to take the boat into the caves for some epic views! I cannot recommend this trip more! This will be one we will never forget!

Everything with the crew,boat, and the cultural history we had was perfection. Captain Mike and the crew were knowledgeable and so helpful with everything. The Napali coast is beyond words in its beauty. We also stopped for ten minutes to see a pod of dolphins which was magical. Captain Mike and his crew, Lionel and Elijah, were spectacular and made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we stepped aboard, they treated us like family and were some of the kindest, most hospitable people we have ever met. We happened to take the tour on our daughter's 7th birthday, and the crew truly went above and beyond to make her day special. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail meant so much to our family. Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they were also extremely knowledgeable. They shared the history, culture, and significance of the Nā Pali Coast in a way that was engaging and informative, making the experience even more meaningful. The scenery was breathtaking, the atmosphere was perfect, and every aspect of the tour exceeded our expectations. Our snorkeling tour with Makana Charters aboard the Amelia K was truly the highlight of our trip. The views of the breathtaking Nā Pali Coast were absolutely spectacular, and we loved learning about the island’s history, culture, and unique landmarks from the knowledgeable crew. The snorkeling was excellent and enjoyable for every age in our group larger group, making it a great experience for families. The guides were friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the areas we visited. Their passion for Hawaii and dedication to making sure everyone had a great time really stood out. We highly recommend Makana Charters and the Amelia K to anyone looking for an unforgettable Kauai adventure!

We did the Na Pali Kai III tour and it was amazing. The crew was fantastic, they interacted with the passengers, made sure everyone was having a great experience, and shared many interesting and memorable sights and stories. We even saw dolphins (in the afternoon). It’s been a highlight for our trip to Kauai. I’d highly recommend this trip. Mahalo!!!
