We had such an amazing time on our Nā Pali Coast tour with Makana Charters! The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day so much fun. We saw so much wildlife, huge pods of dolphins (including babies!), a monk seal, and several sea turtles. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the boat was comfortable and well-kept. Everything felt relaxed but well-organized, and we never felt rushed. Truly a highlight of our trip to Kauaʻi, highly recommend!

Great trip to the Na’pali coast! Everything about the trip was excellent from the boat tour the crew to the overall experience. Even the ride back to the dock was a blast. Would highly recommend.

If you're going to the Island of Kauai this is not to be missed! I can say this is maybe the best tour I've been on anywhere. Of course, the dramatic sites are the main attraction but the tour is very well done. Pay close attention to their specific instructions prior to arrival. Have the right gear with you & don't party to hard the night before and take your dramamine! They do everything well right down to the small details. Like the non-slip padded flooring on the boat to make moving around safe & comfortable. The bathroom is clean & comfortable. The snorkeling gear is great, they even clean you off with fresh water when you get out of the water! No wonder why so many movies are filmed there!

It was an incredible venture to the Napali coast. I was in awe of the sights. Captain Rob and crew were the best in handling everything on the boat. Captain Rob is an expert driver. A 10 out of 10 trip.

Capt Makana and crew were the best. My family had an amazing time. This is the charter you want because their boats go faster than all the other boats we saw out there and so you get more time to explore the caves and less sea sick from the rollers.

Other than flying, the Amelia K seems like the fastest way to the Napili Coast. Our crew was excellent, informative and friendly. Captain Mike was obviously extremely skilled with this boat for a fantastic experience and photo ops.

It was fantastic 4.5 hrs of Na pali coast excursion experience for my whole family.Kudos to the crew and the captain for making it a superfun and safe experience.They also went above and beyond to help us spot dolphins in an afternoon trip.Keep up the good work.You folks are the best

We had a great time with Makana Charters! They took great care of us, were very safety-focused, but also kept things fun and extremely informative from a local Hawaiian perspective. We had a great time snorkeling, and of course seeing the picturesque NaPali Coast. And we were lucky enough to catch a perfect rainbow on our way back in!

Incredible day with an incredible crew!! We had the best day of our trip. They had delicious sandwiches and drinks for us and really put their heart and soul into making sure we knew about the culture and history of Kauai. The views were absolutely stunning and the dolphins were a huge bonus! Thank you!!

Our family of 9 had an absolutely amazing trip with Makana Charters up the Napali Coast! Captain A A and his niece were incredible — friendly, funny, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the area. They went out of their way to connect with everyone on board, were fantastic with the kids, and made sure we all felt comfortable and included. The scenery was breathtaking, the atmosphere was fun, and the company’s service was top-notch. Highly recommend Makana Charters for an unforgettable experience!

We had an incredible adventure with Makana charters in Kauai! They were courteous, professional, and SO MUCH FUN. I loved the extra history we were told as we sailed and I was continually impressed by the captain’s maneuvering of the ship on rougher waters at the end of the day. We may have gotten mega splashed but I never felt unsafe. The lunch was perfect and I’m telling you that sandwich was the best ever as we ate it after snorkeling, (and seeing sea turtles!!) admiring the stunning coastline. Our captains also offered excellent beach and food recommendations that turned out to be perfect! Overall it was a 11/10 experience and I would 1000% recommend this charter service!
