Wow, what an amazing experience! I couldn’t recommend high enough doing a Na Pali Coast Tour with Makana. The crew was fantastic. The tour was breathtaking. I really appreciated the captain and crew sharing about their Hawaiian heritage and the historical significance of the Na Pali coast. Being able to learn about the land and sea from the Hawaiian people is so important and that is what Makana gives you. Thank you for sharing your home and sacred land with us <3

I recently took a Nā Pali Coast boat tour, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of my Hawaii trip. From the moment we boarded, the crew made us feel welcome and safe. Their energy, humor, and knowledge about the coastline added so much to the experience. Highly recommended!!

We absolutely loved our tour on the Amelia K! We had Makana, Liliana and Elijah as our guides and they made the day so fun! We explored beaches, sea caves and the Na Pali coast. Everyone was born and raised in Kauai so they were extremely knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations! We 100% will be booking with them again if we have the chance!

This tour was an absolute blast! The captain and crew were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, committed to keeping everyone safe. The Na Pali Coast is breathtaking, and learning about its rich history made the experience even more special. The sea caves were fascinating, the snorkeling was unforgettable, and while the waves were a bit rough at times, they only added to the adventure. I will definitely book this tour again next time I’m in Kaua‘i.

E we had a blast hanging out with the crew at Makana Charters. The Seiko 2 was the perfect boat to enjoy all that we spotted (so many dolphins and even a few turtles and monk seals!) Thanks for the beautiful memories!

We had a wonderful trip on the Seiko with A’a and Kana. They were friendly, kind, hilarious, very knowledgeable about the ocean, and open about their Hawaiian culture. We had a great day! My kids said it’s the best tour they have ever done.

It was an amazing experience!!! We went on the Seiko 1 boat… crew of Captain A’A, Jamie and Jada were fantastic, cliffs and ocean were absolutely spectacular, and we even saw 2 sea turtles while snorkeling!!! It got windy on the way back and we had a rough return, but it was really fun if you like bumpy type rides. It was our groups absolute favorite activity of our whole trip!!!

We loved it!!!! The crew was amazing & the scenery was INCREDIBLE!!!!! We saw dolphins, sea turtles & monk seals. The NaPali Coastline is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful!!!!! Would definitely recommend this tour. It was my husband, daughter, SIL & 2 granddaughters (ages 16 & 13). We all agreed it was the best day of trip!!!!

We loved our boat ride on the Amelia K! Staff was knowledgeable and took time to chat and get to know everyone on the ride. We were lucky enough to have an afternoon ride with so many rainbows on our return home we couldn’t capture them all. It will definitely be a life long memory!

Na Pali coast is so beautiful. Nothing like it in the world . Our captain A-A, was amazing - professional , fun, felt very safe , he shared so much knowledge and history . Absolutely wonderful experience! Every detail was thought of and the crew was amazing! Besides learning about the beautiful Hawaiian culture, the captain stopped so we could see a pod of 100+ dolphins. Two had week-old babies with them with! Then we were treated to an impromptu flyover by one of the military planes that appeared to be practicing their landing skills nearby. An unforgettable experience that I highly recommend!
