Captain A’a and Kana were absolutely amazing!! (Sorry if I spelt the names wrong) So much knowledge, cool stories, and bad jokes were made but good times were had 🌺 thank you for the memorable experience!! The NaPali Coast was gorgeous and such a beauty to see and experience 😊

For starters my family and I would like to thank everyone involved in chartering us out yesterday. The Island itself is amazing. The crew went above and beyond and we are already considering to take another trip before we leave. Highly recommend Makana Charters!

We had a great time on the boat. Good amount of people, not crowded. The staff was all very friendly and informative and answered questions. Lunch was good. Good music. Plenty of water, soda and juice for everyone. Snorkeling was fun. Highlight was seeing a giant pod of dolphins. Highly recommend this charter.

The views are legendary, but you know that. Even more so are the crew of Makana Charters. Knowledgeable, hilarious, friendly, and eager to guide you on a great adventure. They made the trip a good time for everybody and had an answer for every question. Makana was captain on my trip, and there wasn’t a second of feeling unsafe. Depending on the conditions of the ocean when you go, you can expect to see dolphins, go into sea caves and under water falls, and take an awesome swim. Highly recommend these guys!

This tour was awesome!!! We did the Seiko 1 with captain A'a and Kana. The staff is super friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and made our trip truly unforgettable!! We got to see a school of spinner dolphins, who were showing off for us, and the view of the coast is absolutely breathtaking!!! When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely be doing this tour again!! Thank you again for such an amazing experience!!

The Amelia K took my husband and me on an amazing Journey to view the Nā Pali coast, a truly extraordinary experience. There was snorkeling, pods of dolphins (100’s of them jumping and spinning! Babies too!), and spectacular scenery - what more could one want? The crew and staff were FANTASTIC - from the booking process, to check-in, and throughout the cruise. All were helpful, pleasant, and happy to share their knowledge of this wonderful coast and island. We highly recommend this tour!

We had an awesome time on Makana charters snorkel / tour trip of the Napoli coastline. We boarded around 8am, did some snorkeling and then cruised up the coast. The crew did a great job talking about the land and making sure that all passengers were well taken care of. Plenty of soda and waters along the way, and a simple but tasty lunch of chips and sandwiches was provided. We encountered several hundred spinner dolphins which was a real treat. Highly recommend this tour to others! It was one of the highlights of Our trip.

Truly outstanding. A peak experience of my life. I’ve been to all of the Hawaiian islands, done the road to Hana, the sunrise at Haleakala with the bike ride down the mountain and they were all incredible but this experience was definitely in my top 3.

Wonderful view, lovely dolphins, in depth knowledge of the coast and nice timing. Just be prepared that you may get seasick. Friendly and helpful crew. Highly recommend it.

If I could give more stars I would. Makana himself and the crew, sorry forgot the names, treated the whole boat full of guests like Ohana/family. They work hard but appear to really enjoy their workdays on the seas of the otherworldly Na Pali coast. They were so hospitable! and so knowledgeable with respect towards conservation of the island! The Na Pali coast is itself breathtaking, rising more than 4,000 feet from sea level. It features the second tallest sea cliffs in the world after Molokai. Go! Their power catamaran is nice, new, and I always felt safe. Be prepared to get wet but this is part of the fun. If you have a propensity towards motion sickness, take your meds and go anyway! The trip is fanfreakintastic. I don't work for them. I wasn't paid to write this, lol, but I used to work in hospitality for over a decade. Complaints are voiced so often that compliments need to be mentioned more often.
