A truly fabulous day out

We are from New Zealand and were visiting family in Brisbane. Our daughter suggested a visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and we were not disappointed. I would rate this above Australia Zoo - it was awesome. We got to see koala and kangaroo very close up as well as dingo, Tasmania devils, platypus, bats, snakes and other animals. The sanctuary obviously takes great care of its animals, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly, highly recommend a visit. We will be back. Thanks for a great day.

Cute animal park, with lots of koalas and many other native animals. Beautiful grounds. Even a surprisingly tasty cafeteria with well-made espresso drinks to sip while watching the koalas.
