There are interesting animals and friendly staff here, especially the lovely kangaroos and platypuses. It’s a bit of a pity that the wombats and many birds are quite lazyyyyyyyyy, but this is definitely a great place to visit with your family during the holidays.

Visiting Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary was such a warm and unforgettable experience. Surrounded by green trees and soft sunlight, I saw cute koalas sleeping lazily on eucalyptus branches, looking peaceful and lovely. I also got to feed friendly kangaroos on the grass. They hopped close gently, ate from my hand, and let me pat their soft fur. It felt so close to nature. Colorful lorikeets flew around, and I watched fun sheep shearing and dog shows too. Every moment was full of joy and warmth. This beautiful day with Australian animals will stay in my heart.

Love this place! Have been coming here for many years and the kids just love being here. Staff are always so friendly and the animals are amazing! The layout is very child friendly and it is always a great day out. We really like the updates with the wombat and devils, there are just so many of them!

Soooo many Kaolas and kangaroos

I was a bit worried when we arrived as the koala tours were all full. But there are so many koalas and we were lucky to see them at feeding time around noon. And then the kangaroos. Wow. So glad we went.

Lives up to the koala sanctuary name... koalas everywhere. For us, was a decent morning out, couldn't turn it into a day. Platypus was the winner for us. Feeding the roos always fun. Parking and food options were probably tje 2 areas that could be upped.

Needs more signage and directions around the park. More interactions with the animals.

Can't say enough good things about this place ! Great experience. I gate zoos and captive animals, but it didn't feel like this. You can walk amongst the kangaroos, see lots of other varieties of animals all being saved from injuries . Koalas were great! Even got to pet a few ! Highly recommend.

The kangaroos are very gentle when you feed them. Koalas sleep most of the time.
