Love this place ! Super clean and animals are very well cared for. Plan to spend a day to truly see everything. The handlers were very nice and informative. The koala and dingo experiences are a must. A full day with a private tour would be a wonderful way to see the Sanctuary. I will definitely be back.

Wonderful place. I don't usually like zoo, I don't like seeing the animals outside of their habitat. But I must say that they are treated wonderfully, and the visit can be long, informative and peaceful as much as entertaining. I have enjoyed everything, from feeding the kangaroos to photo with a koala, also the portable phone charger available at the boutique has really helped. The only down side is that after 4pm the boutique inside is closed and we can't get food, I was very hungry and I couldn't get a fruit or a healthy snack. (There is another boutique when you exit but they only had ice-cream). The merchandise were not to my taste either. If I can make a tiny suggestion it's that the kangaroo food that we can buy to feed them should probably be a smaller portion. A lot of people are buying them and the kangaroos don't want it anymore early in the afternoon, so you get less chance to feed them. That being said, later and in another spot I was able to stay alone with one and he enjoyed the left over I had. Thank you for this wonderful park

You can spend all day here between the various "shows" and experience opportunities. The staff is great. Definitely go here for up close encounters with Australian wildlife.

It’s a quiet and beautiful place, perfect for families and kids. The animals are clearly well cared for, and you can see that they are properly trained and handled with care. The kangaroos are especially friendly, and it’s such a special experience to be able to feed and interact with them up close. Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is very well organized and easy to explore, with clear walking paths and plenty of space to relax. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about the animals. There are also scheduled shows and talks throughout the day, which make the visit even more interesting and educational. It’s a great place to learn about Australian wildlife, especially koalas, kangaroos, and many other native animals. The environment feels natural and peaceful, making it enjoyable for both adults and children. There are shaded areas, picnic spots, and a café, so you can comfortably spend a few hours here. Overall, we loved the visit and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Brisbane. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This was a memory of a lifetime experience. I'm from the states and only seen koalas and kangaroos from a distance. While at the LPKS, I was able to pet a koala (Morris) and feed kangaroos. Another very cool sight was the sheepdog show. The other animals, birds, reptiles, and insects were also great to see in person. We went in March, so it was warm and mostly sunny. Be prepared with sunscreen and sunglasses.

Platinum Tour Worth It!
I visited with three friends who all did the Platinum Tour, and I must say that it was well worth it! We visited many animals inside their enclosures with a great tour guide who gave many great facts, and answered all of our questions! The animals looked well cared for and were very friendly with us! The bird, sheep dog, and wild bird shows/experiences were all very well done! Seeing the different birds fly above the crowd was very cool to see, and getting to hold one at the end was a blast. The sheep dog show was also cool, especially seeing how well the one dog does with many sheep and a handler who doesn't even have to speak to get thd dog to do exactly what they want. The wild bird feeding was also really fun to take part in, and definitely a little highlight! Overall, this is one of the best "zoo" type attractions I have been to! Well worth the time and money!
