I recommend this place especially for those who are not familiar with Australian Fauna :) You get to see Koalas, feed Kangaroos, see plenty of other animals you would probably not see passing you by on regular basis ;)

This was a fantastic experience at the end of our holiday in Australia and quite possibly the highlight of the 4 week trip. The Koalas are very well looked after and the experience of meeting one up close was amazing. Also feeding the kangaroos was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The staff were excellent throughout the process from booking onwards helping to sort out a booking error that was entirely my fault. Top marks all round.

Fabulous wildlife experience. The primary function is a koala sanctuary so lots of koalas to adore. Also have a fantastic kangaroo experience. Buy a bag of roo food and walk around the kangaroo field. They are friendly and if hungry will walk right up to you looking for a handful of food. Also have sheepherding and raptor demonstrations plus other animals.

We especially appreciate having annual passes as it means we can often go to Lone Pine with our young grandson & we don't have to go for long. He absolutely loves going & is growing up seeing all the animals - the Aussie favourites, lots of birds, the farmyard animals, and even the roaming lizards. It's wonderful that he's gaining knowledge about them from such a young age and also learning not to be afraid of animals, but to have a youthful wonder & excitement about them. We love it, too; especially watching his delight.

(Translated by Google) An open-air zoo with approximately 100 koalas. There are also kangaroos, sheep, birds, and other Australian animals to observe. However, the main focus is on the koalas. On a tour, you'll learn a lot about the koalas and have the opportunity to take photos with them, and even pet them at the end. It's incredibly interesting. There's a direct bus connection from Brisbane. Highly recommended if you love animals. Super interessant. Es gibt eine direkte Busverbindung von Brisbane. Sehr empfehlenswert wenn du Tiere magst.

I couldn't find a single koala in the wild while travelling in australia. This would be a near natural experience and also helps you in understanding this animal.

An absolutely unforgettable experience! Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary completely stole my heart. I was in awe the entire time — seeing koalas up close, watching them nap, eat, and move so gently was magical. Feeding kangaroos freely roaming around the park felt like stepping into a dream. There’s such a beautiful variety of Australian wildlife, and the whole sanctuary is peaceful, clean, and clearly built with love and care for the animals. If you’re visiting Brisbane, this is a must. One of the most heartwarming and special experiences I’ve had in Australia so far! 🐨🌿🦘

(Translated by Google) A true animal sanctuary I visited the Brisbane Koala Sanctuary today, purchasing my ticket online (about 70 AUD). I arrived 10 minutes before opening, at 9:00 a.m., and immediately felt the special atmosphere. This place is truly a sanctuary in the truest sense of the word: the animals are treated with great respect and love. The spaces are spacious, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. You immediately notice how calm and well-cared for the animals are, unlike many other similar facilities around the world. I saw kangaroos, snakes, and crocodiles, but the area that struck me most was the one dedicated to the koalas: more than 100 animals, all so sweet and relaxed. I spent over an hour just photographing and observing them, especially the mothers with their young. There are numerous staff members, always working with great care and attention, from cleaning the spaces to distributing food. The sanctuary wasn't crowded, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Inside, there's also a small animal clinic, souvenir shops, and a café. I spent about two hours there in total, and it was an unforgettable experience.

A true sanctuary not a "theme park".

We had a great day at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in early March 2025. We did the additional Koala Experience (small group). We highly recommend the ~ two hour experience. We bought our rickets in advance and made reservations for the Koala Experience. Most of the park was under the tree canopy. This made it comfortable.

Overall we had a great experience at the sanctuary with our young children. The reason for the three stars is because my wife and I both ordered a beef burger and chips. The beef burger was absolutely disgusting - the bread was stale and the beef patty was gross and undercooked. Total was over about $36 for the two burgers - we were ripped off and the sanctuary should do better rather than selling such terrible quality food.
