This is so worth the visit. Lots of Koalas, birds, lizards, crocs. Took in the free bird of prey show that was amazing. Allow a half day.

Expérience au top ! Billet beaucoup moins cher que si je l’avais acheté sur place et le sanctuaire est incroyable :) Énormément de documentation sur place pour comprendre les enjeux de la préservation des espèces mais tout en étant super ludique c’était génial !

Amazing!

I really, really love koalas. For years, I'd been watching Lone Pine's livestream of their koalas. It often kept me going. So it was a must-see when we were in Australia - in fact, we went specifically for my birthday. It was an easy drive from central Brisbane. We had the full koala tour, and it was really awesome. You get to go inside an enclosure, and get really close to the koalas, but also you learn a ton more than I was expecting. For example, at one point they hand out different eucalyptus varieties for you to smell. And at the end, we got to hold a koala, although I hear they've stopped doing that now. All the koalas though smelled like eucalyptus and were so, so soft! There are koalas everywhere in this sanctuary, and they're all fun to see. But there are other animals as well! We did a behind-the-scenes platypus tour. We got to see the oldest living platypus sleeping in his enclosure, and then we got to see the entire behind-the-scenes operation before getting to personally feed the younger platypus! There are also birds, bats, farm animals, wombats, and all kinds of other animals to see. The cafe has really solid food, and the gift shop is wonderful (lots of really unique pieces done by artists). I highly recommend staying for the end of the day. Koalas are nocturnal animals and really wake up around the end of the visiting hours!

(Translated by Google) You can see almost all of Australia's animals here. The grounds are large and there are lots of koalas. We recommend visiting early in the morning when it's cooler. (Original) オーストラリアの動物がほぼ見られます。敷地は広く、コアラはたくさんいます。 なるべく朝早くの涼しい時間帯をおすすめします。

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary – A Must-Visit Family Spot! Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a fantastic place for family entertainment. I’d recommend setting aside at least 3–4 hours to fully enjoy everything at a relaxed pace. The highlights, of course, are the adorable koalas and friendly kangaroos. The sanctuary offers an excellent display of Australian native animals, making it not only fun but also educational for both kids and adults. One of the best parts is the open and free spaces where you can interact with kangaroos, feed them, and take great photos. It’s a hands-on, enjoyable experience that feels more personal than a regular zoo visit. There’s a café on-site, and they also allow you to bring your own food. With plenty of picnic tables, it’s perfect for a relaxed outdoor meal with the family. It’s slightly on the expensive side, especially for larger families, but considering the unique experience and well-maintained facilities, it’s definitely worth it for a special outing. Overall, it’s a really amazing, fun-filled experience that’s highly recommended if you’re in or around Brisbane!
