My 3-year old son and 7-year old daughter had a blast during our first visit to LegoLand at Vaughan Mills. I thought it was going to be boring but, I'm so happy I was proven wrong. The theming is on point and this creates such a fun and colourful atmosphere for the kids! There is something for every age group and there is a great cafe area to sit and have a quick bite to eat as well. The washrooms are big, the 3D movies are great, the little tables for kids to build on are perfect, and the staff we encountered were all super helpful. I only have great things to say about the place! However, the one disappointing thing was the behaviour of the visiting adults. I understand children are going to be excited and may throw/drop Lego pieces around, leave them on the floor, etc. But, the adults who are with them really need to be more mindful of these things and help put the pieces back and encourage respectful play because, while there are staff walking around with brooms/dustpans sweeping things up, it does pose a problem for a couple reasons... firstly, someone can slip and fall because the staff aren't able to be in 20 places at once to catch each piece the second it falls, they are circulating and sweeping as they go... secondly, if pieces continue to go missing and things get damaged (such as the moving/shaking Lego tables), who do we think is going to eat the cost? We, the average consumer, will be forced to pay more for admission/passes to offset these losses, for sure. So, let's try to treat the place with respect and ensure that we and/or our kids put things back where they belong, operate the equipment properly, and so on. Again, we had a fantastic visit overall and will certainly be back again!

Solid place to take young kids - Not too big, but enough variety for an hour or two. I don't like how they charge extra for the experiences once you're inside the place but that's just the way of the world these days - bait and switch.

Targeted more for pre-7 year olds.

The visit was nice but I don't understand why adults tickets were so expensive when the adults sit around watching their kids. The kids do a lot so their charge wasn't bad, but for the parents to have to pay so much I didn't think was right.

Went on boxing day. Was expecting a bigger shop but was pretty empty, especially stock wise. I believe the Yorklade one being smaller has a wider variety of choice.

I wasn't going to write a review because it felt harsh and I just wanted to move on. But as I was asked by the Discovery Centre Team about our experience, I will. The suggested age range for Legoland is 3 to 10, but my child who is 3.5 didn't find much they could really engage with. It felt like a misleading suggestion. Every other play place that we have gone to that is suggested for 3 and up has gone extremely well except here. In the first room it feels like the majority of the interactions don't really work aside from the touch screen painting, which we could only get to while waiting in line for Kingdom Quest. Our child just kept asking what these things were supposed to do and/or why didn't they do anything. Kingdom Quest was a long wait with little pay-off as all of the non-video targets don't indicate to a three year old whether they have done something or not. In mini-Toronto, the few interactive pieces also seem to be broken down or barely working. In the play space the car for racing and jumping had to be built for him as it was all Lego and no Duplo. It was then a challenge to not be swarmed by older kids who wanted to go ahead of him when he actually got to use it. The Merlin's Apprentice Ride was the only portion he enjoyed unhampered. Maybe it was our mistake, but I never saw the Duplo Village listed on the website, which was what we expected to be the prime target for his age. This was our first visit and the New Year's Eve Balloon Drop was what lured us in. Unfortunately, it failed badly. The balloons wouldn't drop and the staff had to climb up and cut away at the nets to get balloons to fall bit by bit. When we asked out three year old after the visit what the best part had been, we were told that the purple spatula we let him pick out from the home goods store on the way home was the best part of his day. It feels like if Legoland really wants to serve three year olds, there is work to be done. If not, please adjust the age recommendation to be a bit older. Thanks.

Carolina was very helpful *** I have five stars down but in reality the Elevator situation is horrible here especially when it opens. They have a huge space with only one elevator a long lines. Families have strollers, etc..

Quite expensive for what it is. Use the money to buy Legos that you can keep.

Legoland on this our second visit continues to be a solid attraction. What makes it so cool are all of the Chicago buildings … at least a number of them more famous ones built by Legos and then a jungle with all kinds of creatures, made of Legos, and then a workshop of Legos in process, followed by play area of Legos and other attractions. There is even a ride where you get to shoot all kinds of targets and see all kinds of Lego creatures. What was a bit disappointing was, as this was over Christmas, you could find 25 different presents for a prize. We worked really hard and found all of them and then the prize was a plastic badge that said very little. I expected a little Lego set or something to that effect.

The place was ok. The rides were decent. 3D show one of the projectors was out of alignment, so the picture was blurry in one area. If you just wanted to build with Lego blocks, you could sit and build for hours.
