There's plenty to do here, well worth the $26 admission. I enjoyed the rides. I enjoyed the Lego Characters/Mascots walking about. The Lego structures throughout were awesome. The ideal place for Lego Lovers. Kids run about and have a blast in here, and then they go shopping and make their own take-home containers. It's awesome. I love seeing my kid smile and play here. We've been here a few times. He talks about this place all the time.

Not worth the money- very disappointed with the hype of how you couldn’t build your own race car and then race in on a track. It was overly priced for what it is. You build a person step by step which was good- but then it’s a free for all when it comes to finding car pieces- no instructions, not enough resources. Build your own with the step by step guide was great but then you couldn’t take it home. Basically an overpriced playground experience. Would not recommend and will be complaining to corporate.

This was an awesome experience! Definitely worth the time to go if you are looking for something hands on and different to do in the area. We went on a Thursday afternoon in April with my 6-year-old niece and 9-year-old nephew. They spent about an hour and a half building cars for the ramps, then moved on to the Rocket game, which was super cool once we figured it out. We took a break from building with the laser shooting ride, and then the 4D theater. The afternoon was spent in a laser maze, which they were addicted to. Overall we spent 5.5 hours there and another 45 minutes in the gift shop to customize a Lego mini figure! It was a great day. The employees were also very friendly and seemed happy to be there. I would imagine it could get a bit crazy on the weekends though! I gave it four stars for a few reasons: 1) The ride the kids have to be a little over 4 feet to ride without and adult. I had my infant so couldn’t go on the ride. I totally understand the safety concerns, but I wish that info had been on the website to better prepare a solution. (I had another mom watch my baby haha!) 2) The instructions for things are not clear. We did a lot of trial and error to figure out how to work the laser maze and rocket game, but once we figured them out it was great. 3) Some of the things seem a bit run down. Didn’t really affect game play, but I think a little touch up to make sure the games are working well for the price of admission would go a long way. As well as a few step 1, step 2, step 3 signs. Overall worth your money! Oh and. There was a cute and quiet food court area which was nice to go too! And they had a few lockers for free! I would totally go again.

Had a great time at LEGOLAND Discovery! For my first time going to a LEGOLAND themed exhibition, I had a great time. You cannot enter unless you have a child with the age of at least 17 years old. I had fun, even though I'm a teenager, it was a dream come true for me. Recommend families with younger kids to come and have a great fun time!

The idea is good but honestly I got way too bad of the experience with Legoland USA . I tried to buy tickets in advance that become a nightmare . Now I still looking to fix my problem that Legoland create . After I spent 108 dollars to buy tickets in advance . We came to the door with my kids and wife and they told us that we do not have tickets . So I had to start looking why is that happening. After a month with desputes with my bank with many many phone calls I finally got the receipt that show that I did purchase my tickets but they show to my bank that we did not show up !!! How ridiculous is that ??? I bought 3 more tickets so my wife and kids can go in but I did not . Now after a month they claim that we did not show up … wow . So until that fix their incompetence of their workers I am not going to give up . But please people be very very careful when dealing with Legoland Chicago !!!!!! Very very careful . The nice and pleasant experience is a nightmare for me . And pretty annoying to deal with bureaucracy and they know it . What a joke is that . Kids dream ?! Very far away from Denmark . Sorry so far away . Not even close .
