Exhibit was small and aquarium AC wasn't working.

I've been a few times with young kids and I don't feel like it is worth the price. There are very few things as inside that kids can do, beside open Lego building. There are even fewer things for younger/smaller kids. There is a small area with duplos, and some duplos in a building area, but beyond that little ones are very limited. Plus the blasters on the very first ride did not work, which is the whole point of the ride. Many of the buttons that make the giant Lego display interactive did not work. Today we entered, went to exit, asked if we could re-enter after having lunch, we were told yes. This is also what the website says. When we went to re-enter a new employee told us no. They do not allow re-entry and that the website doesn't say that. I showed them their website shows that they allow re-entery. Then the story changed to a school group had recently entered and they wouldn't allow us to re-enter because of that. It's summer vacation and I am not sure what school is going anywhere the first week of August. I do understand that re-entry is subject to change, but don't tell someone they can re-enter if they can't. Really bummed the kids out. Especially since there is no outside food or drink allowed and we have food restrictions, so we couldn't eat at the café inside if we wanted to. So in general I do not think it is worth the cost. We got in with a promo for teacher appreciation month, and it was still expensive. Unless your kid is obsessed with lego and could sit for hours building with legos (without any instruction or direction), it is probably only worth a visit once, if that.

We got the bundle tickets for SeaLife and LEGOLand, but my partner and I weren't allowed in legoland because it's a "playground for children" and we don't have kids. Would've been nice to know-- maybe a little warning at checkout when you only have adult tickets in your cart? Obviously I knew it's mostly for kids but the advertising all includes adults doing the activities too so we just figured why not get the bundle (plus, pretty sure the aquarium is mostly aimed at kids too and I've been several times?). Staff at entry was weirdly rude and judgmental about it, seemed like either he thought we were stupid for paying for both or like we were going to be gross or something? Isn't this the brand that's always bragging about how they cater to all ages? I don't know. Seems like you're missing out on easy money from autistic adults who just wanna look at the lego stuff. We still ended up having a great time though. Everyone in the aquarium was super nice, and they seemed very enthusiastic and passionate about their work, and it was so cool seeing so many different marine animals up close and even getting to touch sea stars and sea urchins. I particularly enjoyed the horseshoe crab aquarist's note with an FAQ that starts with "Is the horseshoe crab okay?" And, if you're not a coward, the tanks with tunnels/view bubbles in them are totally adult-sized. Edit: after reading some of the responses to reviews like mine about the age requirement... do you need a child to get into Disneyland? What about carnivals? Places can be family-friendly and even little kid-friendly while still being spaces everyone can enjoy. And if you're really stuck on this policy you NEED to start warning people BEFORE they buy.

I'd never been here and came with a friend's kids the other day; this place is awesome. I only tacked a star because there were a few times I just noticed staff standing in a corner with a moody look on their faces; it's a hard thing to see when you're at a place for children. Otherwise, it's almost like the staff were weaving in and out of the play areas, keeping things well-maintained. I couldn't imagine the stress of working here and keeping up with all the moving pieces. It was lots of fun and just such an awesome experience that I'm honored to have shared with the kids! Again, some attitude in some of the staff could have been better, but overall, good stuff. I'd come again any day!!

Offering a ticket that comes with a mini figure to explore the center with then not having said mini figure available is such a disappointment. Had i known we would have saved $15 across the tickets and brought our own.
