Combo tickets were sold to us for both Legoland and Sea Life aquarium for 3pm. We went to Legoland after the aquarium and were not granted access because last entry to Legoland is 1.5 hours before closing. We got there at 4:45pm and they close at 6pm. We were visiting from out of state and flying home the next day; my kids were crushed. They would have had plenty of time to enjoy the park if we were allowed in. We visited this Legoland previously and my kids were bored after 2 hours. The manager gave us a refund which helped, but I still had to deal with upset kids. In my opinion, Legoland should not be selling combo tickets that late in the day.

We recently purchased tickets to visit your location to celebrate the birthday of a close friend who absolutely loves Legos. In total, we bought four adult tickets online, including the Aquarium Package, and traveled an hour and a half to experience it. Upon arrival, the cashier checked our tickets with no issues and confirmed that it was just the four of us. However, after moving past the first room, we were stopped by a staff member in the photo area who asked where our child was. When we explained that we didn't have a child with us and it was just us adults, she informed us that adults are not allowed to visit without a child aged 15 or younger. We were incredibly disappointed. The online checkout system allowed us to purchase four adult tickets without any warning or notification stating that a child was required for entry. As Lego fans—and noting that the boxes themselves say "Ages 6 to 99+"—we were shocked to be turned away. We requested an immediate refund and waited 10 to 15 minutes for a manager to process it on the spot. While we were waiting, we noticed another adult couple being turned away for the exact same reason. While the manager did issue a full refund and we understand that child safety is the priority behind this policy, the execution on the website could be greatly improved. It seemed like your staff deals with this issue multiple times a day. To help future guests plan accordingly and save your team from having to turn disappointed paying customers away, please consider adding a mandatory, noticeable prompt or restriction on your online ticketing platform. Preventing the purchase of standalone adult tickets—or requiring a clear acknowledgment of the child policy before checkout—would solve this issue for everyone.

This was very disappointing for our family. The experience is set up in a way that makes kids believe the LEGO figures and cars they build are theirs to take home. From the moment you walk in, children are encouraged to create characters, build race cars, and use them throughout the attraction. Naturally, kids become attached to what they made. Nowhere was it clearly explained that none of these creations could go home with them. After spending time building and customizing everything, finding out at the end that it all has to stay there led to a lot of disappointment. For the price of admission, it would make the experience much more positive if each child could keep at least one small build or minifigure, or if the policy was communicated much more clearly at the beginning.

My kids had fun, but there was zero enforcement of the age limits for the different areas. The website says there are toddler specific areas, but they don't enforce it and basically your 2 year old gets run over by 7 year olds who overrun the toddler spaces.
