It had plenty of little activities for kids but it targets the elementary crowd, and of course, the Lego enthusiast. Even if you aren't a Lego fanatic, it's quite impressive to see all of the lego replicas they have built!! It's also a very hands on experience which is always a plus ++

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is a fun, indoor attraction designed primarily for young children, especially those between the ages of 3 and 10. It offers a colorful, interactive environment where kids can build with LEGO bricks, enjoy short rides, and explore themed play zones. One of the main highlights is MINILAND, which features impressive LEGO-built cityscapes with detailed landmarks, moving parts, and lighting effects. The 4D cinema is another enjoyable feature, combining short animated films with wind, rain, and snow effects that keep children engaged. Attractions like Kingdom Quest and Merlin’s Apprentice provide gentle rides that are exciting without being overwhelming for younger kids. However, for teenagers and adults, the experience may feel limited. The venue is relatively small and can be fully explored in about 2–3 hours. Adults without children may find fewer activities that hold long-term interest. Additionally, during weekends and holidays, the centre can become crowded, which can reduce the overall experience and lead to wait times for popular attractions. Pricing can feel high considering the size of the attraction, especially if tickets are purchased at the door rather than online in advance. Food options are limited and somewhat expensive, so planning meals before or after the visit is a good idea. Overall, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is an excellent destination for families with young children. It delivers a safe, creative, and entertaining environment, but it is not ideal for older visitors seeking thrill rides or a full-day experience.

Just a building with tables for children to play with Legos, a small ride and plastic jungle gym.

Legoland is always a hit! We try to visit at least once a year, and it never disappoints. It truly feels like the perfect place for all ages — I’m always so fascinated by the LEGO displays. It’s honestly such an amazing place to visit, and the location makes it even better with so many fun things to do nearby.

I’m concerned about the “Kingdom Quest” ride. It is very violent and aggressive. Weapons are very harmful and known to be the top killer of young children nationally (per national metrics). The “Kingdom Quest” ride is not suitable for minors due to the use of fantasy weapons. Using guns to murder other beings is a bad example for children. The ride does not support ethics, cooperation, kindness, innocence, peace, nor respectability. Therefore, please discontinue showcasing weapons at Legoland. Children activities should be educational and wholesome. Providing children with a positive attraction will be a good change. Please act immediately to ensure the safety of all visitors by discontinuing violence at Legoland. Thank you!

I was really looking forward to taking my 3 sons to LegoLand, as there aren’t many different and creative places to visit in Columbus. I purchased tickets online in the Summer of 2025, not realizing that they actually expire after purchase (they must have expired within 30 days of online purchase). Totally my oversight. I called the company to request an extension, refund, or at-least partial credit so that my $125 didn’t go to waste. No deal. Emily looked up my order number and left me a direct message saying there’s absolutely nothing they are willing to do about it. To me, this says a lot about a large company after admittedly making an honest mistake; they offered no additional assistance and basically said we were out of luck and out of $125. I then read the reviews about the (lack of) cleanliness of the venue, and decided it’s not worth spending another $100+ on tickets that expire shortly after purchase. Totally disappointing.
