My review is for the Legoland Discovery Center adult night on 4/10/26. This is a 2-star experience that could become a 4 or 5-star experience with some tweaks. Positives: • Vats and vats of Lego pieces to play and build with all night. • Fun building challenges led by master builders with great prizes. • "4D" movie (I put in quotes because spraying everyone with water is hardly a fourth dimension, but it was fun nonetheless) Negatives: • While the master builders were very pleasant, the actual Lego land discovery staff were abjectly miserable. Arguing with each other about how the customers should line up, huffing and puffing about where to find more yellow bags, the works. I don't know if Legoland needs to pay these people more or just hire people who know how to smile, but something has to change because it brought the whole mood down. • There was no explanation of what to do. We arrived to a giant room and were set free with no clue what to do. After some wandering around, we got our bearings, but an announcement at the beginning that says "this event is held here, you can do this here," would go really far. • The event was advertised as 7–9:30, but the ride closed at 9, so we never got to try it. Had this been explained at the beginning (see point above), we could have planned more appropriately. • Many of the smaller attractions simply don't work. When we were there, the laser room didn't work, nor did the large button game. The mini fig scanners and the photo stations were also down. That's a lot of items not working! I think they should plant more staff near these areas to make sure things are running smoothly. • When you purchase tickets, they offer you the opportunity to buy an exclusive mini kit for a discounted rate of $6. The same kit is sold for $4 in stores, so it's neither exclusive nor discounted. This feels borderline criminal. • None of the hand sanitizer stations work, which is particularly noticeable because the bricks are really grimy and clearly not cleaned very often (if ever). • This is a smaller complaint, but the mini figure build area had only about four hair options and they were all rather strange (think space buns, green fringe, etc) – literally no one was able to build a figure that looked anything like them. There was also only one skin tone available. • Another smaller issue: the main cityscape display is beautifully built but poorly maintained. Like absolutely covered in dust, better pop a Claritin before you walk in kind of situation. Overall, I still had fun by posting up next to one of the Lego vats and building all night. I'd consider going back just for that, but I really urge Lego to consider the above changes.

It was a fun experience. My 5 and 7 year olds loved it. All the activities of building cars, sea creatures, and buildings had plenty of legos. The 4D movies were also very entertaining for adults. Not much options of food and snacks for gluten free, but we managed.

We’ve been here on a weekday and on a Sunday. Both have their pros and cons. They do a lot more activities (dancing with a mascot + photos) in the weekend and if you’ve pre-bought tickets you just go in. It was packed on Sunday though. When we went on a Monday it was much calmer and nicer. It’s more enjoyable with people who haven’t been, especially kids. But for adults, it gets old real quick (unless you don’t mind being a kid again and going for the ride, building things or watching the movies. PS: No drinks allowed. They confiscated our drinks on Sunday for a bit but we had them for a part of the time. This was on Sunday. I don’t remember anyone caring on the Monday we visited. Water bottles are essential when you have playing kids and their dining options (plus drinks) are abysmal.
