Michael is an exceptional guide! Filled with interesting information from the beginning to the end. Made the extremely comfortable ride even better. Michael entertained like a live action podcast with humor and wit while taking in the beautiful countryside and stunning Connemara mountains. He was also very considerate of individuals who may have had difficulty making their way around. This tour of the castle, sheepdogs, and fjord nestled in Connemara was a very memorable experience! A dream come to life!

Booked the Cliffs of Moher and Burren bus tour from Galway. The views and sites speak for themselves. Why this was a 5 star experience was the history provided by the tour guide Shane (could very likely be spelled Seán but to unaccustomed American ears it sounded like ‘Shane.’ ) Anyway, our guide mixed all elements of Irish history with the landscape as the backdrop. His enthusiasm was genuine. The tour went flawlessly.

I recently took the Connemara and Kylemore Abbey full-day tour with Lally Tours, and it was hands down the best day trip I did during my stay in Galway! I had done a few other day tours in the area, but this one stood out by far — thanks in large part to our fantastic bus driver and guide, Seamus. Seamus was absolutely brilliant. He was warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge, sharing fascinating stories and bits of history throughout the journey. His passion for the region was evident, and his sense of humor made the entire experience even more enjoyable. He kept the group engaged and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. The tour itself was stunning — the landscapes of Connemara are breathtaking, and Kylemore Abbey was an absolute highlight. On top of that, we even had the chance to meet some animals along the way, which was such a fun and unexpected bonus! If you're considering a day tour from Galway, I can't recommend this one enough. Lally Tours runs a smooth, professional operation, and if you’re lucky enough to get Seamus as your driver, you're in for a truly memorable experience!

We took a bus tour to Connemara national park from Lally Tours. A great trip! Our driver Seamus was funny, informative and gave us lots of background info about the places we saw. Kylemore Abbey was special and the Diamond Mountain made a wonderful walk.

On the other hand, how could it? The scenery is amazing, and you can't get enough of it. And from the top of the bus, the view is even better than from the car. I highly recommend the tour! (Original) Ich habe die Tour von Galway nach Connemara und zur Kylemore Abbey mitgemacht und es war super! Tolle Landschaft, einige kurze Foto- und ggf. Shoppingstops und der längere Aufenthalt in der Kylemore Abbey - der gerne noch eine halbe Stunde länger hätte dauern dürfen. Dann hätte ich auch noch Zeit gehabt, den Apfelkuchen zu probieren, der uns von Busfahrer und Tourguide Seamus angepriesen wurde. ;-) Er hat uns zusätzlich mit vielen Informationen und Anekdoten versorgt, so dass es nie langweilig wurde. Andererseits - wie könnte es? Man hat ja die tolle Landschaft, an der man sich nicht sattsehen kann. Und oben vom Bus aus ist der Überblick noch einmal etwas besser als aus dem Auto. Ich kann die Tour nur weiterempfehlen!

My husband and I enjoyed our tour with Seamus to The Cliffs of Monet today. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We would definitely recommend this tour.

We visited the cliffs of moher, aillwee caves and dunguiare castle with lally tours. We had Jerry as our tour guide and he was amazing. He was very interactive and had lots of interesting facts and stories throughout the tour. We got to the cliffs at a perfect time to have our photoshoot before the fog rolled in and blocked the views. After we stopped at the fit’z pub in Doolin which was tasty and quick (45 mins allotted time). I definitely recommend spending the extra €10 for access to the caves. I recommend booking with this tour group!!

I’m not sure if I got his name right, but Dion who did the 8 July tour from Galway to Connemara and Kylemore was great! Lots of interesting history about Ireland and the Connemara region. Views were beautiful and driving was safe. The only stop I think didn’t add much value was the 1/2 hour stop in the town where the Purple Door cafe was, but I guess it was for people to do their souvenir shopping.

We had a great tour with Lally Tours yesterday! We saw the Kylemore Abbey along with a lot of beautiful Irish country. Seamus was amazing. He was friendly, engaging, funny, and I think I learned more about Ireland from him on this tour than I did in the time previous week I was here. I would highly recommend this tour and Seamus especially!

I chose the Lally Tours trip based on other reviews, and I am so so so glad I did. John B is an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. I learned so much today, in addition to visiting beautiful places. A highlight I didn’t expect to love was walking the Burren landscape. I will recommend this tour to anybody who asks for Galway tips.
