The actual Kualoa ranch is great and beautiful to experience - would highly recommend. Great tour guide and beauty. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the false marketing and poor customer service of the kualoa ranch telephone staff. The tour reservation said to get there at least 45 minutes before, however, this is not necessary and you can show up 5 mins before… the ranch just wanted you to shop in their gift store. Smart marketing, but also not ideal and can cause undue stress. The kualoa ranch phone staff had no idea about what the online booking or rules around when you needed to get there before the tour actually started. I would suggest updating the confirmation / online ticketing to say “suggested” 45 minutes before and that the doors close 5 minutes before the actual tour time.

My girlfriend and I did the Jungle Expedition Tour for our anniversary, and had a fantastic time. We got lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour, and our tour guide Tanner made it even more memorable. Very informative, had a lot of fun learning about the local legends. Hopefully you get lucky enough to get Tanner as your tour guide on this beautiful excursion!

We did the Raptor UTV ride, and overall it was a good experience not bad, but not amazing either. The ride itself was fun, but the tour felt a bit too long. At around two and a half hours, it became repetitive, going back and forth, and there weren’t enough scenic viewpoints to keep it exciting the whole time. I think it could have been shorter and more enjoyable with more scenic routes or stops. That said, our guide Tyler, a Filipino guy, was excellent. He was funny, engaging, and brought great energy to the group. He truly made the experience better and helped make the long ride feel more worthwhile. He was honestly the highlight of the tour. My main feedback for Kualoa Ranch is that the tour length feels too long for what’s included, and adding more scenic destinations would make it feel more worth the price. Overall, a decent experience with an outstanding guide, but there’s room for improvement.

We did the movie sites tour at Kualoa Ranch and it was absolutely amazing! Our guide was friendly and engaging, which made the experience even better. The nature is breathtaking, and the unique mountain shapes make you truly feel like you’re inside a movie set. Going through the locations where Jurassic Park and so many other famous movies were filmed felt surreal. We had an exceptional day, and this tour is a must for nature lovers visiting Oahu! 🌿🎬🦖

バスツアーと船のツアーに参加しました。ガイドさんが早口で説明してくれるので英語に自信がない方はちょっと難しいと思います。英語が分からなくても、映画好きなら楽しいと思います。映画を観てなくても、後日撮影された作品を観るのも楽しいです。船は荒波だとかなり揺れるし、甲板にいるとずぶ濡れになるため要注意です。

Kualoa Ranch, Oahu – An Unforgettable ATV Adventure My partner and I recently visited Kualoa Ranch in Hawaii and opted for the ATV tour, and it was absolutely perfect. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, enjoyable, and truly memorable. Convenience & Logistics: The ranch offers pick-up from select locations, usually hotels, early in the morning and conveniently returns you afterward. This made the day effortless, allowing us to fully enjoy the adventure without worrying about transportation. The public buses also go around the entire island, from Waikiki to the ranch within an hour is a good option if you do not have transportation. Facilities & Food Options: Kualoa Ranch has a market and a poke food cart on-site, which is perfect if you want a quick bite. If you don’t select the all-inclusive tour, which comes with a buffet, there are still food options available. The ranch clearly prioritizes guest convenience and comfort. ATV Tour Details: For the ATV tour, they provide helmets and a complimentary neck scarf to protect against dust—thoughtful touches that make the ride more comfortable. Dress accordingly if it’s rainy or has rained, the trails are all dirt. I read it’s encouraged to bring extra clothes if needed. The restrooms are an upgrade from a porta potty, they’re in trailers with sinks inside. Staff & Guides: The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our guide, Eden, made the tour especially enjoyable. She was not only incredibly informed about the history and details of the ranch, but she also had a wonderful personality that made connecting with her easy. Eden was considerate throughout the tour, asking if we wanted pictures at each stop and ensuring we had ample time to enjoy every view. Thanks to her, we were able to learn a great deal about the ranch’s history, and the experience felt personal and engaging. Even if you have a different guide, all of Kualoa’s staff are highly skilled and professional. Photography & Scenery: Photography is a breeze here. Staff can print pictures taken before the tour that aren’t expensive to purchase, and there is ample time to take your own photos. The scenery is truly breathtaking—the thousands of acres of lush landscapes make for unforgettable views and fantastic photo opportunities. Animals & Ranch Life: The ranch is home to a variety of animals, each with their own story. They are clearly well cared for, which adds another layer of charm to the experience. I believe they sell meat from their farm at the market along with local produced fruits. Overall Experience: Whether you’re a local or visiting Hawaii for the first time, Kualoa Ranch is an experience worth having. There’s different kind of tours offered for different budgets. Between the stunning landscapes, engaging guides, well-managed facilities, and adventurous ATV ride, it’s a perfect way to connect with Hawaii’s natural beauty and rich history. Our visit exceeded all expectations, and we left with lasting memories.

We did the zip-line tour with our guides Mac, Ethan, and Amy who all deserve a shoutout! They were absolutely fantastic with keeping us safe as well as entertained. It was awesome to be around such great folks and the zip-lines were so fun!

We went on the Hollywood movie set tour and while I’m sure any tour of this incredible place would be wonderful, Sam made the day. His local knowledge leveraged against a deep background of the movies, background and history of the ranch was ideal. While his stories may be pure BS, we’re fairly certain his employment is a result of judge ordered community service from teenage adventures on the ranch. Hollywood should pay him for his passionate advocacy to watch many of the films and shows shot on the ranch.
