The best way to experience the Heart of Cabo!
Hearing story of how this cooking class got its start. It was such an emotional and heartfelt story. The food, drinks and dancing was so much fun. I recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a great time with great people!

Fun Time
We were lead away from the tourist area into the heart of Cabo. We were able to learn about making tortillas and how to pick a good fish from the market. Making lunch and meeting new people was fun. This is a great tour.

MUST DO for Food Lovers!!
My husband and I did this for his birthday. If you are a food lover, this is a MUST DO in Cabo! Absolutely safe and SO much fun. Come Hungry!! There were tons of options at each stop and SO MUCH GOOD FOOD! Our tour guide, David, was awesome. We ended with dessert and Tequila tasting which was great. Would absolutely do this again!

Great Food Tour in Cabo!
We had a great time on our food tour with Juan More Taco Tours! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and its cuisine. We got to taste different tacos from many different regions in Mexico that were very tasty! Great portions of food! And, we finished off with a really nice tequila tasting! Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cabo San Lucas!

Great cooking tips and a wonderful way to learn some new recipes
This was great. I was impressed with the little cooking tips that will apply more broadly in life and not just to the specific recipes we covered. The market was cool. The food was fresh and the cooking environment was bright and clean. Would take other friends and family to this and greatly encourage you to try it.

Amazing Taco Tour
Great walking tour which highlighted tacos from different regions of Mexico. At each location you got your choice of meat/seafood and you had a variety of toppings to choose from. We also went to a seafood cart operated by a trained chef. This cart opens at noon and closes around 3 pm when everything sells out. I highly recommend the mackerel tostada. Along the way we also had an ice cream and finished the day with warm churros and tequila tasting. Miguel, our guide, is a historian and shared many stories about Cabo San Lucas and the different regions of Mexico.

One night in Cabo…
David from Juan More Taco guided us to 7 different local spots for authentic Cabo cooking—sopes, various tacos, ceviche, and ice cream. It was awesome and we are so glad we did it! We ended with a thorough education & tequila tasting. Great value & very fun!

Great small group experience, 4 helpers for 5 people in class. Wonderful experience in chef’s house. The market was fun plenty of explanation and history about what goes into the food, where was sourced how to select the breast produce that we were going to eat then went to the chef‘s house that was completely set up for the cooking experience

Awesome time!
Great time! Highly recommend! Started with shopping for ingredients, even visited the tortilla factory, made margaritas to start, then salsa, guacamole, corn tortilla, seafood medley. Live one man band music playing while we ate. SO FUN!! Thank you Issi (chef) for a great time in Cabo!

2nd Time…The BEST time!
Two years ago my husband and I did this tour and we loved it, so we knew we needed to do it again with our best friends on their first trip to San Jose del Cabo. Alan was our guide for the evening and took us to places that we would’be never found on our own; the most unique locations, full of colour and culture. It was only the four of us on the tour, making us feel extra VIP as we learned about Mexican cuisine, culture, traditions and of course tequila. Alan went above and beyond at each stop making sure we understood the menu options and choices, made his own recommendations to us and even worked his magic to get us incredibly fresh churros (when the long line seemed too daunting to wait in). The last stop with the tequila tasting was incredibly informative and lots of fun. I learned more about tequila than I ever knew before! I now know how to properly drink it and how it is made and aged. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and would ask for Alan as my guide.

This was my second cooking class in Mexico and chose this one particularly because of the market tour. Even being a So Cal guy who is fairly experienced with Mexican cuisine, I learned plenty from Chef Enrique's knowledge of the ingredients and their history, availability in the U.S., etc. It helped "round out" my understanding of where ingredients are sourced and how they are prepared for the market (e.g., seeing the mixtalization process, and learning various forms of corn/masa available for purchase). You get a real behind-the-scenes feel in the market tour, which was fantastic. Once the cooking part got going, hold onto your hats! The focus of the day was on birria preparation, but once the salsa parade began, every hand in the kitchen was put to use to cut, peel, and grind seven (!!) different salsas, plus guacamole. Handmade tortillas were completed perfectly in time for the birria to be ready for lunch, along with jimaica tea and sips from Enrique's personal collection of mezcales and tequilas. Chef Enrique is quite a character. His easy-going and jovial personality made the whole day enjoyable in the welcoming environment of his stylish and modern home (along with his wife and helpers) just a short cab ride from the Zona Romantica. Highly recommended for all levels of chefs/cooks.

Delicious authentic food
This tour was excellent. Delicious food at different taco restaurants that we would not have found on our own. Took us to more authentic Mexican areas of town. Miguel was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Come hungry. Well worth the cost.
