We had such a wonderful time with Oku, right from the start he was so welcoming, friendly and helpful! It was just the three of us and we started with some history of Japan. Oku showed us gems of the fish market, covering strawberries to tamagoyaki to soybeans to matcha to dashi, kobe beef and tuna and more! We got to see behind the scenes action for so many spots, like where and how the tamagoyaki is made. All throughout Oku weaved in historical and current cultural information about Japan and was always hilarious, helpful and easy to understand. He even has photos, maps, and models to help demonstrate. We tried everything in small quantities (don’t come starving but ready to taste). Oku has friends everywhere in the market which makes visiting every stall so pleasant and easy! At the end we saw a shrine and learned about more Japanese culture before having delicious sashimi and sake together. Overall we had such a lovely, unhurried time. What a treasure of a tour! Thank you Oku!

Magical experience with a fantastic guide!

Wow! This was such an incredible start to our family holiday in Paris with Intrepid Hidden Montmartre Walking Tour! Our guide Camilla was absolutely wonderful - she was warm, friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. She was sure to be inclusive of everyone in the group (including our little 7 year old whose birthday it was) in the way she told us about the history and secrets of Montmartre with insider tips and local knowledge. It was magical to take back streets which were quiet and not full of tourists but full of fabulous street art and buildings. Highly highly recommend!

Anna was the star of the show

Our tour was amazing, mostly in part to Anna and her knowledge of the area, food and people! We did this on our first night in Barcelona and it was a perfect introduction into old town and the history. Anna really did such an awesome job, was so kind & sweet and knew her history like she was born and raised here. Recommend this tour to everyone!

Relaxing Enjoyable and Informative Tour!

I had a wonderful time on this tour with Bogdan, we had a small group and I really appreciated that we were mostly outside of the main city center and were able to understand more of what local life in Bucharest is like, along with his historical commentary. I'd say the tour is about 60% tour with sites / commentary, 40% food - so we had a few specific food stops where we able to sit, relax, and enjoy the food and comfortably chat with the rest of the group. Some other reviews indicated it's a lengthy tour, but I'd say it's just more relaxed with food / drink stops and exploring the markets. The food was also tasty - a pretzel, local dips, local beers, sausages, and my personal favorite - some pickled vegetables from the market.

Beautiful, historic Denver

My tour of Denver was so fun and informative because of my guide Lisa. She shared so much history in a style that you could absorb and remember it. She was always open to questions and was very helpful and sensitive. I am now annoying my family and friends with all that I learned .

A Must-Do in Venice!

This was a fantastic tour, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our guide was great, and took us to many local spots to try Venetian food. She gave great recommendations for my stay. If you are coming to Venice, you need to take this tour!

Enjoyed the tour, great to hear information you wouldn’t have know otherwise. Lovely off the beaten track locations., and tried food you wouldn’t have know have known about. It would have been nice to have finished in a location, and given ideas to go on to afterwards.

First time visiting Thailand as a solo traveler. I was extremely surprised to find I was the only participant for the afternoon excursion. My guide Art was absolutely wonderful!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and was so kind. The EV Tuk Tuk was a great way to explore different parts of Bangkok in the oppressive heat. We also took a quick river ride to visit the very cool flower market that is open 24 hrs. My favorite spots included the Wang Lang market and Ban Bu community. Art even made an extra stop to highlight a local temple where imagery was used in the White Lotus. Such a fun fact!!! Thank you Art for sharing a wonderful day and showcasing some amazing parts of your country’s rich culture 🙏😊🙏😊
