David was an exceptional tour guide. Super knowledgeable - in breadth and depth - affable, and accommodating. We learned so much about the area, Alaska in general, the wildlife, etc. It was a thoroughly enjoyable way to get from Anchorage to our cruise ship. We would highly recommend!!

We had an incredible experience on this dog sledding excursion! From start to finish, everything was well organized and thoughtfully planned. Our guide personally drove us to and from the location, which made the entire experience seamless and stress free. During the drive, he shared great background knowledge about Alaska, the area we were visiting, and the rich history behind dog sledding. We especially appreciated learning about the different dog breeds, how they are trained, and the care and dedication that goes into preparing them for races. One of the highlights was stopping to see where the race starts. That added such a special touch and gave us a deeper appreciation for the sport and its tradition. He also took us along scenic routes both there and back, choosing different paths each way so we could take in even more of Alaska’s beautiful landscape. We were even lucky enough to see Denali and spot moose along the way, which made the experience even more memorable. Seeing the mountain in a clear view and wildlife in their natural habitat was truly breathtaking. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. The combination of stunning scenery, knowledgeable guidance, and the opportunity to learn about the dogs and their history made this excursion exceptional. Highly recommend!

The tour leader for our Anchorage City Tour was David, the owner of Frontier Tours. The tour was interesting, complete, and understandable. David has a broad base of knowledge on the history of Anchorage and of Alaska as a whole, and is very interesting to listen to. He talked about how the industries, economy, and people of Alaska have evolved over the years, and how this has affected the growth and development of the various cities and regions. My wife and I both have a much better understanding of Alaska after taking David’s tour.

Did both the City Tour and then the Aerial Tram & Wildlife Tour with David. Exceptional. David goes out of his way to provide an informative and all encompassing tour. His depth and breadth of knowledge is unsurpassed. Highly recommend taking a tour with his company.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Alaska! David is so knowledgable and passionate about sharing all that he has learned about the local culture and landscape. The conservation center is an absolute don’t miss for your time in Anchorage and David was an awesome guide around the park!

We did the tram and wildlife tour with David, and it was a great experience! He is super knowledgeable, shared a lot of fun/unique facts and anecdotes about the places we were visiting, and was overall a great guide. One of our tourmates spotted a beluga whale out his window, and David turned the van around to stop at a viewing point where we could all see them. He was also super knowledgeable about all the animals at the wildlife center (including their names and back stories) and the spots you're likely to find them in the exhibit. Would highly recommended this tour!!
