Unbeatable view!
We thought it was worth going all the way up to 102nd floor! There was a wonderful young man working there, his name was Melvin, he was happy to take pictures of us and point out the various sites

A must see in NYC
Suggest buying a ticket that allows re-entry in the evening as the view is so different at night, we went at 10.30am and 8.30pm all on the same ticket. The queue can be confusing if you are there for the opening, but does move quickly once open. Being from the UK be prepared for the airport style security check as you enter, not something we see much at attractions in the UK

Scared of heights- loved it!!
For two people that are not big fans of heights.. this was far beyond our comfort zone, but it felt so safe, excellent and smooth lifts, friendly and professional staff (and thankfully no glass floors..). The views are just spectacular.

So much better than what I remember from childhood
It was wonderful being immersed in the history of the Empire State Building and not just riding an elevator to the top. The exhibits engaged my 9 year old son. He loved the whole experience.

Mitarbeiter sind eine Frechheit
Die Mitarbeiter sind absolut unfreundlich. Wir wurden beim Eingang nicht reingelassen da ich mal wieder von Tripadvisor keine Mail bekommen habe und ich daher nicht auf die Tickets zugreifen konnte. Die Mitarbeiterin am Empfang glaubte mir dies jedoch nicht und forderte mich daher auf meine Mails vorzuzeigen. In aller NSA Manier durchsuchte sie dann selbstständig meine Mails ab und weiß nun alles über mein Privatleben. Da sich wie von mir angekündigt keine Mail darin befand wurde uns der Einlass verwehrt. Wir versuchten daher mit Tripadvisor Kontakt aufzunehmen, welches genauso scheiterte. Also überlisteten wir die Dame am Eingang und sagten ihr, wir würden neue Tickets kaufen wollen. Danach wurde uns der heilige Eintritt gewehrt. Drinnen konnten wir die Tickets mittels der Referenznummer ausdrucken und so endlich das Abenteuer beginnen. Beim Sicherheitscheck sollte jedoch die nächste unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin auf uns warten. Als ich meinen Gürtel auszog, in die Box lag und diese auf das Band legte bemerkte ich, dass der Gürtel aus der Box gefallen war. Die Schnalle verfing sich in dem Laufband und ich bemerkte wie diese immer mehr zerkratzte. Ich besaß anscheinend die Frechheit meinen Gürtel retten zu wollen und wurde sofort angeschrien dies zu lassen. Ich sah also zu wie mein Gürtel langsam vernichtet wurde bis sich besagte Mitarbeiterin dazu bemüßigte diesen in absolut langsamen Tempo herauszuziehen und ihn mir wie ein Stück altes Brot vor mein Körper zu knallen. Unterm Strich war dieser Besuch nur stressig und von Ärger geprägt. Die Aussicht ist ganz Ok ist aber die Anstrengungen absolut nicht wert.

Iconic building, iconic experience
Fascinating building, it is really the symbol of NYC, thinking that the immigrants made it risking their life is thrilling me! The personnel was passionate and friendly, I have to thank, deeply, Yolanda who works there with a broad smile, because she made my experience even more unforgettable! Great worker and person! 360º experience, then! I would come back immediately!

Incredible views!
Loved learning about the history of the Empire State Building. We did the 86th and 102nd floor but really you only need to see the 86th floor unless you have a desperate urge to see things slightly smaller up higher. Decent gift shop and cafe too. The hot chocolate was delicious!

This place was fantastic and the views were unbeatable. We did the 80th, 86th and 102nd floor and you could see great views from each of the floors. A most do when you’re in NYC.

Perfect Proposal Experience at the Empire State Building
We had a truly wonderful evening at the Empire State Building for our proposal. Special thanks to Ahmed and Gordon for their warm support, and also to the kind lady at the ticket counter during the day who helped us with everything. A big thank you as well to the lovely lady on the 102nd floor who took such beautiful photos for us. Gordon’s tour was fun, engaging, and made the experience even more memorable. It was an unforgettable night and absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Pre-parade sightseeing
I was the 2nd person in line when it opened that morning. Everything went smoothly and I got to enjoy the views very peacefully. Last time I was here was over 30 years ago but it felt like my first time.

Great NY experience
Great experience in an iconic building, staff and entry process were very slick and a consequence of tightened security. We had plenty of time to enjoy the Views and ever felt rushed to leave. I would recommend this to anyone visiting NY we really enjoyed it.
