We had a wonderful trip from Luxor to Dendarah and Abydos temples, guided by our guide Sahar and her colleague driver Mohamed. Both were kind, helpful, honest and professional and created a nice and trustworthy atmosphere. Sahar guided us through temples in a detailed and patient way, showing to us many elements and sharing a lot of information. We were also given free time. We had enough time to enjoy both places. Lunch included in the trip was at a good local restaurant. We really enjoyed the day and would highly recommend the trip with Sahar and her colleague! :)

Our tour with Hamada and Hamza is unbeaten. It was really joyful from the beginning and it felt like going out with friends to Al Fayoum. They are both great drivers / guides and we had so much fun. If you're booking with this agency, I would specifically ask for the both of them as the experience was absolutely superb.

Michael (or Dr. Michael as he likes to be known) was an excellent guide -- probably the best of our trip, which included guided tours spanning sites in and around Cairo, Luxor, and beyond. He was a dynamic and engaging presenter who knew how to weave the history and education into a narrative storytelling form. In each temple we visited, he was a font of energy and knowledge running from each area to the next to share his favorite details about the sites. We especially appreciated his ability to read (and teach!) hieroglyphics -- by the end of the day he had complete novices like us recognizing symbols and more deeply engaging with the history covering the walls. Though he and the driver were a bit late to the tour (we were ultimately only picked up at 6:30 am rather than 6 as promised), this can I think be I attributed to poor communication on the side of the tour company and some difficulty locating our Airbnb, rather than tardiness on Michael and the driver's part. To his credit, our driver, Abo Omar, quickly made back that lost time as he expertly navigated the local roads and we felt comfortable and confident with him throughout the day. In fact, after a few minutes in the car with Michael, any memory of the delay was forgotten and it quickly felt like we'd known him for years. Indeed, Michael's guidance made for a lovely day in the Egyptian desert and we will definitely be seeking him out again on our next trip down in Luxor (at the very least to see the Habu temple, which he passionately advocated for over the trip to Abydos).
