Avoid Emo Tours Egypt – Dishonest and Unprofessional I traveled to Egypt from August 4th to August 8th, 2025, and booked with Emo Tours Egypt. Everything was fine during the first few days, but the last day was an absolute disaster and left me extremely frustrated and disgusted. The night before my final day, I specifically told the tour guide to drop me off at Tahrir Plaza Hotel, and I asked what time I should be picked up the next morning. The guide told me 7:00 AM. I woke up early, got ready, and was downstairs at 7:00 sharp—only to find no guide and no car. They first claimed they had arrived, then said they were “a few minutes away,” but nothing happened. Finally, at 9:30 AM, they sent me a photo, and I realized the guide had gone to a completely wrong hotel—a hotel I had never stayed at during my entire trip in Egypt. They went to pick up other guests instead, never actually coming to get me. Then they told me they couldn’t come anymore because the other guests had already left for the day. They promised me a same-day refund. That never happened. The next day I returned to the U.S. and followed up for 2–3 days via WhatsApp. Suddenly, they changed their story, saying they could not refund me and even claimed it was my fault—despite clear WhatsApp screenshots proving: They wasted my entire last day in Egypt. I was left stuck in the hotel doing nothing all day. They had promised me a refund but delayed and then refused once I was back in the U.S. This was the worst experience of my trip. Emo Tours Egypt’s unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and lack of accountability ruined my last day in Egypt. I will never recommend them to anyone, and I hope others will think twice before booking with them.

We had a great time on our Siwa tour from Cairo. Our guide Nour gave us a lot of information about the Oasis. The driver Mahmoud (Afroto) was kind and a good chauffeur. Everything was included, drinks/snacks/hotel/tickets/meals, there were no hidden extra costs. Would recommend to go to Siwa with this company!

We had such a lovely experience on the Nile cruise! The food was delicious, and everything was well organized. Our guide, Souad, was absolutely wonderful, such a kind and elegant young lady, always on time and very thoughtful throughout the trip. The car that picked us up from the hotel was clean, comfortable, and fully air-conditioned, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We all had a great time and we’re definitely planning to do it again in the future. Highly recommended!

Imo, the best tour guides out there. I booked a Nile dinner cruise through them for $20usd; they picked me up from my hotel in a nice car with good A/C, the cruise was good and the dinner was a lot better than I was expecting for $20. The guide was very friendly and intelligent, I could tell she was very passionate about her work. I even booked another excursion with them the next day, same guide picked me up and led me through Cairo; I learned a lot about modern day Cairo and Egyptian culture as a whole. And I got to ride a tuk-tuk! Absolutely amazing experience and I can't wait until I can go again.

Our ATV quad bike tour in Giza was hands down one of the best experiences of our lives, made truly unforgettable by the extraordinary care and professionalism of Mr. Hakim and Mr. Sayd. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an adventure that was not only thrilling, but also perfectly safe, comfortable, and tailored to us. Mr. Hakim was an outstanding guide — knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly friendly. He made sure we were comfortable with the bikes, explained everything clearly, and took us on breathtaking routes across the desert sands, giving us the best panoramic views of the majestic pyramids. His passion for what he does shone through, turning the ride into so much more than just a tour. Mr. Sayd added to the experience with his fantastic hospitality and attentive support. From making sure our helmets and gear were secure, to offering us refreshing breaks and snapping some incredible photos of us with the pyramids in the background, he truly cared about making our day special. I took a day-trip from Cairo to Ain Sokhna (Red Sea) through Emo tours. Ibrahem Eika was my guide, and we had a great day hanging out on a yacht near some coral reefs. I opted for snorkeling for an extra fee ($20 USD). The boat had a guide who gave me a tour of the reef. We swam through dozens of Arabian Angelfish and non-stinging jellyfish. Despite the extra fee; this tour was by far the most competitive price from Cairo. Thanks for the great day!

This was hands down the best tour experience we’ve ever had, worldwide! Our guide, Tonsi, was knowledgeable and really made history come alive for us. He was professional and accommodating, but also just really fun to hang out with for the day! We booked a private tour and driver for the Pyramids of Giza, Memphis, Saqqara, and Dahshur. We had a lot to see in one day and Tonsi and our driver made it all happen! We are planning to go back to Egypt in a couple years and will 100% book with Emo Tours and Tonsi again. Solo vino el chofer que no hablaba una palabra de español ni de inglés y lo tuvimos que buscar afuera del hotel porque según el, no podía estacionar adentro del mismo Además era su primer día de trabajo Si bien en cairo el tránsito es caótico, las dotes del chofer no eran muy buenas En el viaje de regreso zigzagueo un par de veces porque según estaba quedando dormido,hasta se tiró agua en la cara y nos mojó a nosotros que veníamos en el asiento trasero. Cuando dejo al guía , en el lugar donde lo recogimos, pregunto cómo 10 veces cómo llegar al hotel. Tampoco contaba con GPS. Los lugares que visitamos, increíbles como toda la historia egipcia. Pero el guía ,mohamed, buena predisposición , pero hablaba un español muy básico como para ser guía de turismo. Y eso,una pena, porque resta información a los lugares visitados. El almuerzo,un espanto. Pescado frío, arroz pegado y muy mala predisposición por los mozos del lugar. Lo rescatable era la vista al mar. De los lugares visitados, increíble las catacumbas, pero con muy escasa info por el guía y la biblioteca , que es más que maravillosa. No los recomiendo
