We had an unforgettable experience with Emo Tours and can’t recommend them enough! Tarek was absolutely brilliant — incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout both of our tours. After doing the Bazaar tour with him, we immediately knew we wanted him for our trip to Alexandria as well. Waleed, our driver, was also excellent — professional, polite, and very thoughtful. He always made sure we were comfortable. Tarek was also very considerate of my dad, who had some foot pain. He constantly checked in and encouraged him to sit and rest when needed. That level of care did not go unnoticed and meant a lot to us. We’re flying home soon, but thanks to Tarek, Waleed, and Emo Tours, we’re leaving with amazing memories. Highly recommended!

The day started off strangely when our driver stopped and dropped off an unknown man during our journey to Alexandria — very unprofessional and unsettling. Our tour guide (her name was Sheima, though I honestly don’t even remember for sure) turned out to be a scam. She insisted that we had not purchased the lunch option with our tickets, even though we had, and then stood by as the restaurant charged us 100 LE each for drinks that clearly cost only 24 LE. It felt like she was in on it. Her attitude and overall vibe were terrible. She rushed us through the main stops, barely explained anything, and then spent most of the time sitting off to the side chatting with her friends while we wandered around on our own. That’s not what a tour guide is supposed to do. This is also the second tour I’ve booked with Emo Tours, and both times I noticed guides discreetly slipping money to police officers. It leaves you wondering what’s really going on. Overall, this company is shady, unprofessional, and not worth the money. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere.

We had 3 days with EMO TOURS in Cairo First and second day - Mina was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide. She gave us lots of history and other details about the city while travelling. Car was comfortable and clean. Our third day, the trip to Alexandria, no one arrived at the time given, until we called and were told that something was wrong with the car, finally someone came - driver seemed to be not from EMO - he was nice but the car was run down and not comfortable for a 2.5 hr drive to Alexandria, AC was not efficient either. Our guide was also changed. But Sameera was good most of the time would show us the place and then ask us to go and explore on own. We didn’t enjoy as much due to starting late and uncomfortable car ride to and from. In Luxor we had 2 days with EMO TOURS, Salwaa was ready and waiting for us outside the airport ok arrival. The tour was just amazing - car was nice and comfortable with good AC. She was so good with her knowledge about the history. She was also flexible as wanted to change our plans a bit. Even made some recommendations to explore further, got us to the airport on time.

We booked a private transfer from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo with Emo Tours for September 23rd. While the online booking was smooth, the experience itself was a nightmare from the moment we got in the car. Minutes into our journey, we were pulled over by the police. The officer informed us that it was illegal for our specific tourism car to be transporting passengers in Sharm El Sheikh. As if that wasn't alarming enough, the police also told us our driver had been cited for dangerous driving on his way to pick us up and was due in court. We immediately called Emo Tours, expecting them to resolve this serious issue. Their proposed "solution" was completely unacceptable and illegal: they wanted to move us to another car to get past the police checkpoint, only to put us back into the original illegal vehicle moments later. We refused to participate in deceiving the police, especially with the high probability of other checkpoints on the long road to Cairo. After being stranded on the side of the road for two hours with no legitimate help or alternative provided by the company, we were forced to abandon their service and arrange our own taxi to Cairo. To add insult to injury, getting a refund was another battle. They initially agreed to refund us but then went completely silent. It was only after I initiated a chargeback with my bank that they finally returned our money.
