I booked a 7-day tour with Emo Tours and here's a summary of my overall experience: The first day was well coordinated. They picked me up at the airport, took me to the hotel and then a tour to the Pyramids in Giza. The tour to the pyramids was nice, but I felt I was being rushed as I wanted to go around other spots in the plateau and the tour guide told me it was only for Egyptians, which was a lie as it was full of tourists. I also paid for an hour camel ride which only lasted 15 minutes. The second and third days were very good. My tour guide Ayman took me to Memphis, Sakkara, the GEM, The Citadel, Old Cairo, Khan el-Khalili and a Felucca ride. He did a great job and took fantastic pictures, so I give him 5 stars. The fourth day was a disaster. I was going to fly to Luxor at 6am and they dropped me at the airport at 5am. It took me over 40 min to get pass security controls and the line to get the tickets, so by the time I arrived at the counter it was too late to board. They told me to buy a new ticket and then I was going to get reimbursed, which never happened. Up to this date the company is ignoring my messages and emails, so I just realized I'm never going to get reimbursed. This was a bad coordination on their part and I had to incur all the costs. I did the tour in Luxor later in the day, but since I arrived very late the tour was very rushed and I could not enjoy It as I wanted, but this was definitely not the tour guide's fault, he actually did a great job in a very short time, so thanks for that. The fifth day was great. I did the Hot Air Ballon in Luxor (definitely a must If you go to Luxor) and then a trip to Kom Ombo and Edfu. The sixth day was also very good. I had a nice and smooth trip to Abu Simbel and to Aswan Airport. My driver Yasein did a great job, so 5 stars to him as well. The last day was my final drop-off to the airport. This time I requested to be dropped-off very early and they did, so that's for that. All hotels were fantastic and breakfast was good. I'll say the overall experience was OK, but cannot say it was perfect. I was expecting EMO Tours to be more responsible as they never reimbursed me the flight ticket to Luxor and neither the Sounds of Light activity that was included in the package and was cancelled during my stay. Another thing to keep in mind is that Egypt is full of scammers (no joke). There's honest people there but there's also a lot trying to sell you overpriced stuff or finding ways to take money from you, so beware!
