Alexandria Tour: we took a tour from Cairo. Somehow it took us 5 hours to get there due to weather the road was closed, Our tour guide Ahmed, waited patiently and because we got so late to Alexandria he made sure we see the important sights in the city and stayed with us a little later, took us to local restaurant. I highly recommend Ahmed very knowledgeable. Thank you Ahmed, I will give him 10 starts!

We Took the Nile River Cruise with Emo Tour and were assigned the guide Abdul Hamed el omda who met us in Aswan and expertly gave us a tour of Aswan and then took us to our Boat. He also made sure we got great accommodations on the boat and knew the cultural customs. Sadly there was no room for him to stay on the boat with us which I will say was the one fault of all this which meant our trusted guide had to advise from afar until we docked in Luxor. We had a mix of guides at each stop and although we really loved our guide in Edfu ( Tamer), we felt that not having our guide with us was definitely not ideal. Hamed was able to explain everything to us from history to present day culture and that was very important to first time travelers to Egypt! He made the whole experience very personable and he seemed to genuinely care about us and our well being. We highly recommend a tour with Hamed because we will go above and beyond for hospitality and kindness. He deserves 10 stars if we could give them!

We did the day trip to Alexandria! Ahmed was our driver and was very kind and prompt. He was communicative and told us how long we had in each place. Ahmed navigated the crazy traffic well which Unfortunately meant that we missed the opening times for the library. It would have been great if the itinerary could have been switched around in order for us to make it to the Alexandria Library, had the opening times been known.
