Dirt in every corner of the house, the refrigerator still full of dishes and food scraps from other travelers, the closet door wouldn't open, and the one that did open revealed dirty flip-flops, towels, and socks from people who had been there before. Not to mention the bathroom and kitchen; the house itself was a pigsty. To top it all off, the cleaning guy was there, and his only contribution was to wipe the table—one of the ones they'd set for us to eat—with a paper napkin to remove the dust. However, we'd already seen it, and a napkin wasn't going to do much for him. The restaurant-style food they advertise is a lie; you can't eat there. It's a takeaway restaurant, and the only options are eating in the filthy apartment or on the beach. Por no hablar del baño y la cocina, la casa en sí era una pocilga. Para colmo estaba allí el chico de la limpieza cuyo única aportación fue pasarle una servilleta de papel a la mesa, de las que nos habían puesto para comer, para quitale el polvo de la mesa. No obstante, nosotros ya lo habíamos visto y con una servilleta poco iba a poder limpiar. La comida en restaurante que prometen no es así, no se puede comer allí, es un restaurante de take away y la única opcion es comer en el piso mugriento o en la playa. Por razones obvias comimos en la playa como pudimos, porque no había tumbonas ni mesas ni nada, solo sillas de plastico. La playa es preciosa pero todo lo anterior nos condicionó muchísimo la experiencia y nos pasamos la mitad de la mañana reclamándoselo a la agencia porque no era nada de lo que nos habían prometido o por lo que habíamos pagado. Suerte que nos tocó un guía majísimo, Amr gamal que aunque llevaba poco tiempo en la empresa, supo responder con una profesionalidad asombrosa. Cualquier otra persona nos hubiese dado largas y hubiese aprovechado el día en la playa pero él se lo tomó muy enserio y no paró hasta poder ayudarnos. Al final la empresa respondió bien y nos compensó gracias al trabajo de Amr, pero eso no quita que nuestra experiencia en el Mar Rojo no se viese condicionada y que nos hayamos vuelto a España sin poder hacer snorkel en el Mar Rojo, a pesar de la ilusión que nos hacía.
