I had an 8-hour layover in Cairo and felt that I would regret staying at the airport and not seeing the pyramids. Luckily, Emo Tours accommodated my tight turnaround by providing a driver and an English-speaking guide to tour the Giza necropolis (several pyramids and the sphinx). The private tour in Luxor was excellent! So glad we did this just the 2 of us, where we saw all the major sites in one day. Shereen was our guide for the day who was friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful, also recommended a couple of extra places to visit whilst we were on our stay. The sites are just incredible - thankfully it wasn’t busy in all the places so we had a decent amount of time to learn around the history of each place and take some nice pictures! Lunch was great - felt traditional food which was a nice change from resort food at the hotel. Couldn’t recommend this enough! Our driver was also polite and a gentlemen - Sayed. Car was air conditioned too. Only slight improvement was around the communication before our trip…I sent a message via get my guide who we booked through around pick up as we were slightly outside of the zone, and I had nothing back, I did try to call but no answer. Thankfully the hotel recommended WhatsApp and then communication was excellent & they collected us from the hotel without any problem. You must go!

I had a very horrible experience with Emo tours. They delayed by 3 hrs and lied through their skin on pickup timing. Absolutely no concern that tourist dont come with 3-4 days margin and are okay about missing pyramids. ….the tour guide was to pick me up at 9 am and there was no sign of him till 11am. By that time i also lost the opportunity of going on my own. My whole day got wasted and my plans of going to museum in the evening also got compromised.
