Used the metro. Can get crowded on these trains. Go straight to the steps meeting place but be prepared to sit, if you can, waiting for tour to start. Tour has priority so a good way to see vatican museum and Sistine. Was very crowded. Glad we started early at 9:30.. Guide Eddie was very good with various instructions including on where to go when he had to leave us in Sistine. Hard to hear commentary with competing talking. Worth doing this way though. Tour finished at entrance to St Peter's.

Amazing Tour
Our Tour Guide Riccardo was amazing. He was full of such enthusiasm and knowledge and really made our tour extra special. We were able to make a quick entry because of the skip the line ticket. I would highly recommend this tour, the sights inside are breathtaking. Thanks again Riccardo

Amazing visit and guide!
Wonderful tour, Martina was an amazing guide! Full of knowledge and helped us make the most of our limited time there. Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel tour is a must when visiting Rome.. Amazing!

Exceptional guide Lorena
I hope I can articulate just how excellent this tour was in a way that does it justice! Everything about it was great, and we must praise Lorena- our guide: her passion for art and for Rome really enhanced the experience. She is extremely knowledgeable and engaging, with a sense of humour. We are also grateful for her kindness towards my mother, who was a little slower at navigating steps (by the way, any steps were in good condition and had rails, it’s just mum can get a bit hesitant on any steps or stairs). I really can’t thank Lorena enough- I love history but have never been “into” art, but her explanations and enthusiasm have made me plan to learn more about art ! She’s that good!

The Vatican museums are incredible on their own, but our experience was absolutely fantastic thanks to our brilliant guide Sarah with EcoArt. She added so much depth with her extensive knowledge of the museum and its artwork. Very highly recommend her.

Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about art work, throughout the tour. Learned so much and got through the tour despite lots of crowds. You’ll not find a better tour guide.

Schön, aber zu teuer
Eigentlich schöne Ausstellung, aber nicht zu 99 eur oder mehr pro Ticket. Es ist ein übles Gefühl, wenn das Ticket zu 16 Eur vor Ort in der Villa Borghese gekauft werden kann. Ja man steht 1 - 2 Stunden, na und? Leider ist der Veranstalter nicht Willens, das künstlich teure Ticketing über private Vermittler zu beenden.

Laura was excellent and tour was great. Lots of walking and standing. Be prepared with refillable water bottle and rain gear just in case.

Passionnante
Visite très bien menée par Sarah notre guide conférencière. Les explications étaient très claires avec un fil conducteur tout au long de la visite, qui permet de bien comprendre les travaux de Michel-Ange et Raphaël, jusqu’à l’apothéose qu’est la chapelle Sixtine . C’est vraiment la meilleure façon de parcourir le musée et d’y voir l’essentiel, sans saturer tellement le musée est riche en œuvres d’art. 2h30 de visite vivante et passionnante, qu’aucun audio-guide ne peut remplacer.

Museum experience
The tour of the museum was amazing. Rosalba did a great job highlighting the hidden details in the arts and took us to the most important and interesting spots. She was charming and well informed. Loved the tour and our tour guide.

We had an excellent 2.5 hour tour with Assunta. She was not only kind and knowledgeable, but she was very passionate about her knowledge of art and history. She added just enough spicy details to keep everyone entertained.

Well done
This tour really exceeded my expectations. However, I wish we had done it in the morning because there was so much to see and we would have enjoyed it more if we hadn’t spent the morning also touring other sites. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging. Everyone really enjoyed the tour.

Need more in-depth...
Need more in-depth explanations of each area visited during the tour. It seemed that the guide was not openly sharing her knowledge about such an important site. We all were visiting Colosseum for the first time. We will probably not come for years or may be never. The experience could have been better

A fabulous experience and Oscar was a great guide
The trip was very well planned and organised and exactly as advertised. Oscar was our guide and he was absolutely brilliant. Oscar explained every step of the tour, was extremely personable but also very knowledgeable and took the whole Vatican tour experience to the next level.

Great tour that went by fast
Christine was fabulous. She kept us going, the tour felt shorter than I thought it would because of how good Christine was at explaining and navigating. She knew the good spots to stop for a quick bathroom break without lines. Gave good info for after the tour. Would book again.
