Really informative!

Tour guide Fred made all the difference in the world on this trip to the Vatican City. He was able to share so much detailed information on the paintings, history, sculptures and buildings. I learned so much and truly felt I came away with a real understanding of the history.

Very much enjoyed Irene and the tour of Villa Borghese. She single handedly made the entire place come alive. So very grateful for her enthusiasm and knowledge of all the art. The details. The stories. All of which I would have missed without her. Thank you again Irene

Communication is key. 17 hrs later…

Not happy that it took over 4 hrs longer to get back to Rome after 00:00! Our guide didn’t communicate with us. No food, toilet, water for hours and hours. Stuck on a bus dropping off 3 people. (Think it was the guides friends) to another city before Rome. That was NOT on the agenda and what we paid for! Extremely disappointed! Started at 07:00 am ended 00:30. 17hrs later….. Very pissed off and unhappy customers! All of us are totally unimpressed with our guide and the way it was handled. At the end of the trip, he literally got off the bus, no apology, nothing said and walked off in shame. Leaving us standing there like idiots. A great shame to what could have been a wonderful experience.

Historical and informative

Our guide Patrizia was fabulous. She shared interesting details and pointed out everything we needed to see and know. Tour was well worth doing versus doing the Vatican and Sistine chapel by yourself as you would miss so much detail.

Maria Laura "Laura" was an amazing, knowledgeable tour host that hit all the top speaking points of such a large collection of art! She was thoughtful of her pace and sought shade in the summer heat for her guests. Excellent tour!

Meeting point info correct. On time departure correct. Guide “Ilaria” was superb, excellent, kind, very knowledgeable and carefull. We had 2 kids , 1 in stroller and Ilaria ensure we are with her and gave direction to when to pick up or use stroller.

This is my second time back at the Vatican/Sistine/Basilica and it’s almost overwhelming how many incredible things there are to see. Our tour guide Gaga was friendly, very informative, and took extra time to explain what we were seeing. I felt this time I learned a lot more about the art, history, and the Vatican itself. Highly recommended if you have any interest in art, history, or culture.
