Buyer Beware - terrible service -bad communication

Buyer beware! We selected a 4:30 tour and arrived at 4:10pm. Only to find out they moved us up to a 4pm and the group left us without any notification via a phone call. This was an expensive tour and we only got to join the group after waiting until 5:20 to go with the group to only the Colosseum tour. I would like a refund because they promised to provide us an audio version to use for the next day for the Roman forum and Palestine Hill, but we were not provided it. I’ve contacted the company several times and no response.

Crowded

Friendly, knowledgable guide. Very crowded. Pushed around all over the place. Audio was very bad and missed a lot of the commentary. Suggest a different microphone for the guide. Worth doing but overall not a pleasant experience.

Donatella was our guide....

Donatella was our guide. She did an amazing job! She was thoughtful about the heat and kept stopping in the shade for us. She was super knowledgeable, but also down to earth and kept it simple so as to not overload us with information, I would highly highly recommend this tour and if you can ask for Donatello.

Borghese Gallery with Fred in 2 hours

I booked this tour two days ahead of time with my wife, and the agency contacted us with information on how and where to meet the guide. The guide was waiting for us at the entrance to the Borghese Gallery. We were in total about 10 persons. Federico (Fred) was welcoming and prepared, and our entry to the Gallery was smooth. The Gallery has a lot to see, and you cannot explain or give a proper brief for all the displayed art within. Although we accessed all the Gallery and saw all the art, Fred focused on three to six pieces per room to explain, and tried to choose pieces that can present a nice flow to the tour from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable, and was welcoming any questions we had. His mini quizes were also interesting as they kept the group engaged. The tour was about 2 hours and that was also the alloted time for ticket holders, so we had to exit the gallery floors in about 10 minutes. The Borghese Villa is a huge public park outside the gallery, and it was nice to go through it after the tour with the information we had gained on the Borghese family and history.

Fantastic our guide Catarina was absolutely amazing knowledgeable, extremely detailed and very personable. 5 stars for her and the tour.

Disappointed.

We could not gain access to St Peter's Bascilia. We were not informed that it clses at 7pm. We purchased tickets to get in to all buildings.

Totally worthwhile but be respectful to the culture and the situation. Would thoroughly recommend this for anyone wanting a full experience. Oscar was very informative and pleasant.

Vatican tour 2025

My husband and I had a great experience with Dooriya and the Ecoart tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter’s Basilica. Dooriya was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. We would highly recommend!

You won't skip any lines in summer. . . .

To be clear it’s more like "manage” the line. In the height of summer, it is a sea of humanity. . . . and its hot! Your tour guide helps you get into the correct lines to expediate your entry into the museum a quickly as possible but just know there will be lines. Without this tour, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be to manage just getting into the building. The tour itself was nice; our guide did as best as she could but there will be SO many other people there it was hard to take in everything she was trying to tell us; did I mention that it is hot in the summer months? Regardless, if you’re going to go see the Vatican (and everyone should) I would totally recommend this tour.

Excellent tour lots to see

This was on my bucket list for years. I was not disappointed. Our guide Oscar was exceptional. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining. The time flew by but you'd need weeks to get though all the exhibits here. My favourite things were the stanza by Raphael and the Sistine chapel. Be prepared and wear comfortable footwear, also the Sistine Chapel is smaller than you'd think and there's no air conditioning so bring a fan as it can get very warm and stuffy. Also go as early as you can to avoid the crowds. We went on the 8:30 tour and it was quiet so we could see every thing very well.

Definitely a must-see!

What a wonderful experience! I booked this visit with my partner and had a great time. I had visited the Gallery before, but never with a guide, and Federica was excellent. This is definitely a must-see in Rome! Everything went smoothly and the EcoArt staff was very kind and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

Laura was an absolutely fabulous guide! She was so knowledgable and entertaining. She has a background in art history, and explained the art and history so beautifully.

A big kudos to our guide Mariapaola. So informative and straight to the point. Very easy to understand and follow. She was also very kind to have arranged special seating for an older lady from our group.

Really informative!

Tour guide Fred made all the difference in the world on this trip to the Vatican City. He was able to share so much detailed information on the paintings, history, sculptures and buildings. I learned so much and truly felt I came away with a real understanding of the history.
