Roman history… and Star Wars!

Ricardo was an excellent guide, not only was his knowledge of Roman history excellent also his knowledge of Star Wars. Very useful if, like me, you are a big fan. Ricardo is a huge fan also, and if asked will relate the mythology of Star Wars with his extensive knowledge of Roman history. We even met his friend who was dressed like Princess Leia. Good value, wonderful experience

Best tour in Italy

The tour is great and Elena has been a perfect guide. Not only introducing the background information of the sites, Elena had also guided us to nice photo taking spots and also stopping under shades when introducing the places. Thanks Elena!

Good informative tour!

Nice tour. The tour guide was very informative. He had great insight to the colleseum. The info at the forum was also good. No headphones either!

Great trip

We bought last minute tickets for the Vatican and the official website was sold out. We were able to buy the skip-the-line tickets with this company and it was worth it! The staff were easy to find and got us inside without problems.

Great experienced and fun guide.

To start with, the person that met us outside of the gallery was very friendly and once we met she recognized all of the guests included in our group. The guide was very attentive, very informative and fun to be with. She kept track of everyone and was very personal with each of the guests.

Not worth it

Paid a lot of money for this “skip the line” and “early access” tour. However, there were hundreds of other people on countless other tours doing the same thing. The sites were still unbearably mobbed with crowds. Also, it was hard to hear the guide despite the provided headset. I don’t think this tour was worth the extra money and skipping breakfast. Could have shown up on our own an hour later with a free downloaded audio tour, and had a similar experience for much less money.

Review

Ahmed was personable and informative. He did leave us in the sistene chapel as he needed a coffee and we had to wait in a packed area with no where to go. We also avoided entire rooms due to crowds being present but also understood that the Vatican museums are too big to see everything. Overall, it did the job but not the experience we had anticipated.

The Vatican is beautiful and a must see and doing the skip the line tour is also a must!

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Fred, was very knowledgeable - you could even say he was passionate about the history of everything we saw. He gave us time to take everything in but also kept us moving in a timely manner through big crowds on a very hot day. Definitely would recommend this tour.

Great experience that you can’t get without a guide!

What an amazing experience! Raffaella Was extremely knowledgeable about everything within the Sistine chappel, Vatican Museum, and Basilica. We left with a great appreciation of the beauty that exists within the Vatican walls. You can’t get the knowledge and insights on your own, and Rafaela was so knowledgeable.

A journey through time

Disorganized

Our guide was amazing but the tour operators weee completely disorganized. Tour scheduled at 9:00am. By 10:00 all we’d seeing is the bathroom. Very disappointing. The only reason I’m giving a 4 is because our guide was extremely knowledgeable. I’m concerned because I gave 5 tours booked with Viator on this Italy trip and if the organization of this trip is not just a one off, I will never use them again. Many excused were given for Kate start and guide had to leave 3 times to repair head set malfunctions. It was truly frustrating and I am not exaggerating at all when I say we were an hour delayed. We paid good money for tour to be only an hour and a half

A must do.

We loves this tour and we loved Alberto. This is a must do tour when in Rome, we done this with the arena floor and the Forum and Palestine Hill. It was around 3 hours which was perfect.
