Well worth the extra...

Well worth the extra money to get in quicker and ensure that we didn’t miss the highlights. Our tour guide Yamuna was outstanding!!

Vatican Museum Tour

We have had a Vatican tour in the past which was wonderful. Unfortunately, we can’t rate this tour higher because the guide talked nonstop for almost 3.5 hours. She was extremely knowledgeable no doubt. It felt as if we were watching someone on stage doing a one person drama. At times leaning in towards someone with hand out excitedly saying, “look at this”! There was no way anyone could have possibly remembered everything she said. It felt as if we were being sprayed with a fire hose of nonstop information. Most great guides provide relevant information, history, and stories, and then allow guests to enjoy that part of the museum or tour before moving to the next area. I don’t think she ever paused. A few people actually walked away from her to get a break. Sorry for the poor review, but she could be great if she would back off a little. By the time we got to the Basilica, several people just left.

Incredibly well organized and insightful tour of the Borghese Gallery

The entire tour went off without a hitch and I could not recommend more highly. The guide Irene was very knowledge and her enthusiasm for the history of the museum and its artworks was infectious. I was able to snag a spot 2 days in advance as the tour I had booked with another company (7 months prior) changed my entry time last minute. Definitely book with EcoArt!

Amazing Museum

The two-hour tour is well worth it to see so many pieces of art. Your time is limited in the Gallery and you must leave after the two hours.

A perfect 2 hours

Incredibly informative but our guide was so happy and proud of what she was sharing with us in this beautiful museum that she made it even better. Her enthusiasm and passion for the art was so evident. It made our experience even better.

We were part of a small (10 person) Vatican tour with Oscar. He was a fabulous guide. He navigated our group easily and efficiently throughout the very crowded Vatican Museum, and “prepped” us well for both the visits to the Sistine Chapel as well as St. Peter’s Basilica. Oscar was knowledgeable, and directed our attention to significant and interesting history and art. He also tactfully addressed fellow tourists who weren’t respecting the space. We would highly recommend EcoArt tours and Oscar. Grazie Mille!

BHORGHESE GALLERY GUIDED TOUR IN ENGLISH

I am a 39 years old girl, interested in art, but not an expert in any case. The guided tour through Bhorghese Gallery was absolutelly worth it. Irene is an excellent guide, she was so comitted in making the visit both very enjoyable and interesting, selecting pieces otherwise would have been passed by, and explaining such interesting facts. It was so beautifully and gracefully done, also with sense of humour. The visit didn’t seem to last enough, when it ended we were all so captivated by her explanations and by the beauty of the gallery. I absolutely reccomend it, altough the price is high. If you can, choose the 9 am tour, because it is usually less crowded, and ask for Irene. She has a special sensibility that made the visit a delight.

Highly Recommend Laura for a Memorable Vatican Tour

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Laura! She brought us through the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel, sharing so many fascinating details along the way. Before visiting St. Peter’s Basilica on our own, she gave us a rich overview that made the experience even more meaningful. Laura was engaging, informative, and had a great sense of humour that kept the tour lively and enjoyable. I’d highly recommend her to anyone visiting the Vatican!

Excellent guided tour from Adrian. So knowledgeable really helpful and would recommend him as a guide. Nothing was too much trouble even though The Vatican was exceptionally busy.

Product: Ponza Island 6 hours Boat Excursion with Swimming Stops and Lunch

Come from Rome to do this trip, stay on the island, and ask for a pool noodle!

We throughly enjoyed this boat trip, after 5 days in Rome it was a welcome change in scenery. The water was crystal clear, the boat had an upper deck that we could just lie on, and we had 5 swim stops. The Island of Ponza is really beautiful and the tour was interesting as well (our travel companions said it was nicer than the Amalfi tour they did). We stayed in Nettuno and it was fairly easy to get to Anzio by train and then take the ferry to ponza - but check the train times in advance, because there are not a lot of taxis in this region. We also brought snacks because the reviews said the food wasn’t good but we enjoyed the pasta, it was simple but sometimes that’s all you need, and they will keep giving you food and wine so don’t worry about being hungry. The snorkeling is okay, there are a lot of fish but they are all the same colour and there’s no coral or anything, so if you don’t get the snorkel option you’d be okay, most of the beautiful sights are above the water. Also they had pool noodles which I recommend using because one of the swim spots is a little choppy and also it’s just nicer to float and relax sometimes. Also there was this American who found himself exhausted and couldn’t make it back to the boat so my partner gave him his pool noodle and swam back but if we hadn’t been there I don’t know what would have happened to him. Just ask for a pool noodle, don’t be embarrassed to ask. I’m not sure how expensive it is to stay on Ponza, we did not we took the ferry home, but I would have liked too if I had known how beautiful the island is.

Too fast & too much talking.

Skip the line just means you wait in a shorter line. I'm sure we got in a lot faster, but we still had to wait a while. I would say our guide was average. She showed us certain areas of the Vatican but it seemed like we skipped a bunch. Our biggest issue was that she talked non stop. So much that eventually it just became white noise in you ear. We also moved too fast through the museum. For the Basilica we were on our own. The guide left us at the line going in.

Amazing detailed tour of the Vatican was a terrific experience. Our guide, Alberto, was extremely knowledgeable and gave thorough explanations of every room in the museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.

Great tour company and amazing venue

Would highly recommend this tour company. Easy booking, clear instructions given and helpful friendly staff. We had Martina as our guide and she was absolutely fab. She was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining and she engaged everyone in the group. I liked having a smaller group and the radios worked very well. Venue is incredible.
