Worth the extra money
Small group is well worth the extra money. There is a lot of people visiting the Vatican so having a smaller group (8-10) makes it much more enjoyable to hear the guides historical stories. Very professional guide and we could hear him and understand him. Excellent guide.

It was inspiring.
It was a great experience. The Admission fee was reasonable when we bought in advance. Length of visit was good. Very crowded and moved fairly quickly in some areas which didn't allow for extended viewing. Standing outside in the heat for a long time before entering through the holy doors. Possible portable shelters could be erected for some relief to help avoid heat exhaustion.

Excellent, knowledgable guide; terrific tour. Best way to see the Borghese.
We signed up for the tour because individual tickets to the Borghese were sold out (as they usually are), but it turned out to be the best way to see the Borghese. Our guide was terrific in every way; it was the highlight of our trip.

The skip the line Vatican museums and Sistine chapel tour with Alberto was amazing. Could not have asked for a kinder or more knowledgeable guide. His voice was very clear and made us truly feel as though we were in a live history class! He has just the right amount of humor mixed with a quiet passion for teaching others about the Vatican. Amazing things to see
Lots to see in the museum, allow at least 3 hours, but you could easily do more. Basilica queue was way too long so we didn't go there.

Unique San Clemente
Alberto was very informative and interesting. San Clemente was a very unique spot. It’s the second time we have been there and the tour added a great deal.

Extremely Disappointing and Misleading Experience
We booked the “Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Tour with Optional Basilica (November 8, 2025, 3:00 PM), 4 Adults – €116.00” expecting exactly what the title advertised: access to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, with the option to include the Basilica. Unfortunately, that’s not what we received. On the day of the tour, we were only provided with a guide for the Basilica — and even then, in the regular entry line, something we could have done ourselves for free. My parents were with me, and we had chosen this tour because we had no other available day to visit the Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Another family of four experienced the exact same issue, so it was clearly not an isolated case. As a result, we left Italy without seeing the Museums and the Sistine Chapel, which were the main reasons we booked the experience. It was incredibly frustrating. When we contacted the company for a refund, they claimed we had purchased only the Basilica, which is simply not true. Their advertising highlighted “with Optional Basilica,” making it sound like the Museums and Sistine Chapel were included by default. Only after re-reading the ticket did I notice a small note stating that the “Basilica Only” option does not include access to the Vatican Museums — something that should have been stated clearly and prominently at the time of purchase. The way this is advertised might leads us to make a mistake, and the overall experience left us feeling cheated. We paid a significant amount of money for something we could have done for free, and we missed what we most wanted to see. I do not consider this a trustworthy company, and I would strongly advise others to avoid booking with them.
