Very good tour, definitely recommended for first time visitors to the Vatican. Our guide Stefano is very experienced and explains things in a manner that is easy to understand. He provides context to the exhibits which makes it interesting and simply easy to follow.

Excellent option if you don’t want a guided tour

Having queued about 20 years ago for the Sistine Chapel I can heartily recommend paying for the skip the line option. You get in quick are given relevant information and then left to get on with your visit yourself. Overall I think the ability to book has meant entry is sufficiently staggered these days you can at least walk through at your own pace which is infinitely preferable to the squash I recall on my previous visit.

Eddy the best tour guide of colosseum

Eddy was an amazing tour guide. He showed us all of the amazing small details in the colosseum that had an important impact on history. It was really great having Eddy as our tour guide!

Wonderful tour with Marcello in October!!

My mom and I took a last-minute trip to Rome and purchased these tickets the day before our tour. It was my second time at the Vatican, my first time I did not have a tour guide, and I felt like I missed all the knowledge that Marcello imparted on our tour. I highly recommend taking this tour especially with Marcello. He is so knowledgeable and funny. He even knew exactly where to find our hometown in the Vatican hall of maps, so memorable and my mom loved it too! 10/10 recommend!

Stefano was our guide and is very experienced. He was very knowledgeable and explained the various exhibits and history to us. We learnt a lot and were able to understand with context, what we were looking at. Definitely recommend this for those who are visiting the Vatican.

Magnificence of The Vatican and Sistine Chapel

Touring the Vatican and seeing the Sistine Chapel and the Bascilia was an magnificent experience. I suggest this tour to all visitors of Roma.

Definitely Not Worth the Money

This experience did not meet expectations. Most of our time was spent outside listening to a guide talk in the courtyard, then very rushed through the museum itself. The "optional" Basilica really wasn't an option with how slow the tour went with a mid-afternoon start time. We had 2 elderly people in our party and we were given no accommodations to help them. We stumbled across elevators after the guided part of our tour ended. Also be aware the guides won't provide narration in the Sistein Chapel itself so plan to have part of your tour wasted looking at pictures ahead of going into the Chapel.

Amazing tour, wonderful guide

Ricardo our tour guide knows his history...but sometimes I have no clue what he is taking about its mumbled. My sister and I were so disappointed that we missed the basilica. We have 15 minutes to go run and go back online I think because we wasted so much time waiting for the family who was online for a locker, really disappointing. We could have more time, we were standing at the entrance after the security for mote than half an hour. This should be been told to the people before hand. Im sorry I will not recommend this tour to my family and friends. For the price we paid not worth it. Id just rather went to basilica on my own and waited in line.

Worth every penny

Monica is an excellent tour guide. She was welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. She has 30 years of experience and it showed! I would book this exact tour again just for the opportunity to be guided through the spaces again and the sheer scale and amount of artifacts is overwhelming. At the end of our tour I felt satisfied and accomplished. Additionally the booking service from start to finish was very clear in communication on what to expect and where to meet. I plan to use this service again for other trips and tours in the future and would recommend others to do the same.

Marcelo our tour guide is very friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable and knows a lot about the museums especially the details on the paintings of Michelangelo in the Sistine chapel.
