Overall an excellent experience from every angle
The views were amazing. The story behind the paintings, the statues that we saw was great and our guide Guia was very knowledgeable, she explained everything to us and answered any questions we had, it was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. If i came back to Rome to visit other historical sights i would insist on having the same guide.

Highly recommend!! Our guide, Assunta, was wonderful!
Our semi-private guided tour included 10 people, (as promised) as well as our lovely guide Assunta. Her knowledge of each sight was extensive, and we really appreciated how throughout the duration of the tour she was determined to find the best spots for our group to see each sight in its entirety, allowing for plenty of time to sight see and take pictures. The guide included a voice amplifier device that we wore + a single cord earpiece that allowed us to hear Assunta clearly. Lovely experience, we highly recommend

What an incredible monument with so much history
The tour was enjoyable. We had Ricardo as our guide. He was very knowledgeable however unfortunately he had a VERY strong accent so a lot of his explanations we found hard to understand. Getting access to areas where ancient Roman’s once walked was incredible! The colosseum is an amazing building & hearing about its history was very interesting. We just wish we could understand our guide a bit better!

Wonderful tour with a superb guide - Ricardo
Our visit on 14May 2025 was really excellent. Our guide Ricardo was wonderful and so very knowledgeable on all the history He had great facts but also wove in interesting stories and myths. Plus he used a really neat book the showed and overlay on the current ruins that showed the concept of what it was like in the past. Really made it come alive. Our group consisted of a variety of ages and mobility needs. Ricardo was wonderful in making certain to accommodate all needs so no one was left behind and all could enjoy the tour. He gets 10 stars!!

Skipping the line is worth it!
Assunta was the perfect guide to the amazing Vatican. Not only did we bypass the longer lines, but she showed us details and explained significance and history that we certainly would have missed on our own.

Very accommodating
When we had trouble getting a taxi or uber to Vatican City we were late to meet the tour. The tour company representative was so helpful. They sent us our tickets and then guided us to meet our tour already in progress. Our guide Oscar was very knowledgeable and expertly helped our group navigate the large crowds.

A MUST Tour!
What an amazing tour that you ABSOLUTELY have to do when you’re in Rome. Our group was lucky enough to have Martina as our tour guide- she made navigating the very busy Vatican museums + Sistine chapel a breeze and also super entertaining! She was knowledgeable and fun to listen to!

Colosseum tour
There is a lot of walking on uneven ground and tons of people. Despite that, our guide made the experience fantastic.

Art History
The tour guide could not be understood. There were way too many museums to go through. You should only do this tour if “art” is your passion. The one thing we really wanted to do was the Sistine chapel and there was no explanation within the chapel just shoulder to shoulder people.

Very good, excellent explanations of the guide, they make you travel back in time and enjoy the art and history inside the Vatican Museums. All well organized.

Great Experience
Great works of art. Small group tour with Dimitri is well worth the price. He is very knowledgeable and fun. Be prepared for a lot of stairs.

Wonderful tour
Was easy to locate tour guide outside the Vatican. Monica was very knowledgeable. We didn’t have to wait in line very long to start. Would have been nice to get into the Sistine Chapel earlier in the morning, rather than at the end of the tour, though I don’t know if that was possible. Very good experience!

This time, I'm not sure the markup cost was worth it just for an entry ticket
I only purchased the "skip-the-line" option and it was more than double the list price vs. if you go directly to the Musei Vatican website. Usually, I'm fine with paying a premium for services, but this felt a lot excessive for me. Everything is a cost/benefit tradeoff, but I didn't I got the value of what I paid. The only other thing they offered was an app with some self-guided audio tour via Pop Guides and I know that has a cost too, which is why it's included at no cost with this option, but I personally didn't find that very valuable (good thing I have a burner phone or else I'm really against installing random apps on my phone). If this were even 10euros cheaper and they instead included a voucher for the audio guide provided at the museum, it would have been worth it for me, but I didn't feel like I got the value for what I paid. On the other hand, I saw a lot of people book the guide tours so maybe those are more valuable? In all cases, you def need more than 4 hours to visit the museum so if I were to do-over, I'd find a different day morning entrance time-slot vs. an afternoon time-slot - this just happened to work perfectly with my other plans that day to do the Holy Doors pilgrimage earlier that morning. Or I'd just book it directly on the official website next time.
