Carlos was excellent

He has a passion not only for food but for his adopted home of Lisbon and the people. This tour is definitely about "meet the locals" and not about gourmet cuisine. Seeing authentic Fado music performed was one of the highlights of my trip. The influence of the Portuguese colonies like Mozambique was also learning for us and great food too.

Delicious and informative tour!

We had a wonderful tour. There was a great variety in the explanations and tour aspect, blending the food aspect with Portuguese history, stories, and the lay of the land. Leo was kind, informative, and engaging - and she really made the tour special. When it was recommended that we sit outside while it was raining, she spoke with the restaurant to ensure that we could sit inside. And, of course, the food was delicious!

MUST DO IN LISBON

Leo was an amazing tour guide! We landed in Portugal and headed straight to the tour. It was a perfect start to our vacation as well as our first time in Portugal! She was very knowledgeable, personal, and charismatic. We enjoyed conversing with her during the stops! Highly recommend!!
