Two thumbs up for Heat of Lisbon Food Tour
I thoroughly enjoyed the Heart of Lisbon Food Tour (Baxia, Chaido, and Bairro Alto) that I took with Fred this May (2025). First, tour was an interesting and helpful introduction to these historic quarters in Lisbon. I learned a lot about the history of the city as well as both past and present aspects of living in Lisbon. Second, we tasted a variety of local foods that were very tasting. I particularly liked the "green" soup (collard greens and potatoes) and the grilled sardines which went down real with a glass of beer. Fred is a knowledgeable and kind guide. Not only did he share good stories about living in Lisbon (and Portugal), he is patient and kind--I appreciated a guide back to the metro station! I very much recommend this tour and Fred as a guide. Gerard was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable about Amsterdam and brought us to some delicious restaurants to sample a wide variety of foods. He had a great sense of humor and make the tour super fun

Fantastic food and history tour
Danielle did a wonderful job giving us a wide range of food and drinks. We also enjoyed the history of the area and the history of the food experienced. We loved the tour and highly recommend it.

Max and Pip were fantastic! We enjoyed each stop and learned a lot about London in between. The choice of locations was wonderful.

Absolutely amazing time with Caterina! The stops were fantastic, food was incredible and beverages were just the cherry on the cake. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Catarina was an amazing guide, if you get her running your tour, you're in luck! Had some amazing food, at loads of amazing local places, food, wine and beer and company was great. Honestly couldn't recommend highly enough!

Eat and drink like a local with Nadia
Nadia was a great guide, she entertained us for the entire 3 hours with quizzes and stories and some history, of course. All of our stops on this tour were welcoming and interesting. I am not sure if we would have known about the Altrarno side of town if we hadn’t been on this trip- we are so pleased we did. Every dish and drink we received was of high quality and Nadia provided the history of the dish or drink and we especially loved the wine window s and Gnudi. We loved one of the stops so much that we went back the next day! Amazing tour, very professionally organized, highly recommended!

Guide Zach was personable and funny and we got to try a lot of great Czech food! Would recommend for anyone looking for a taste of Czechia!

Zach was super kind and very knowledgeable about all things Czech, more than happy to answer any questions we had. Very cool experience especially given that many of the restaurants opened just for our tour group and provided lots of variety in trying traditional Czech food!

Excellent guided tour with Gabi. Gabi has extensive knowledge and a great sense of humor. We will be recommending Gabi and this tour to all of our friends. All of the food choices were excellent.

Amazing tour
This was an awesome food tour. Ricardo loves what he does and it shows. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I would do this tour again and with Ricardo. Highly recommend it. We were able to try so many different dishes and wines.

It felt like more wine...
It felt like more wine than food so if you’re not a big drinker, I wouldn’t suggest this tour but the food we did have was good. My favorite was the pasta and gelato. We went back to the first stop on our own time and ended up buying 6 bottles of wine which we would not have known about if it weren’t for this tour. Definitely nice to go where the locals go. Only reason I put 4 stars and not 5 was bc I’m not a huge drinker and there were 4 ladies in the group we went with that were pretty annoying and talked while the tour guide was providing information so we couldn’t even hear the tour guide most of the time. If you’re booking this, be ready to drink a good amount, eat small portions of some really good food and LISTEN.
