Avoid this tour -less than $50 worth of food and drinks for $150 price
The experience was beyond underwhelming, for $150 cost I don’t believe I received even $50 worth of food and drinks. The places were standing room mostly, in all places we were treated like second-class customers, give tiny portions of food (slices on toothpicks), or tiny sampler glasses, we were led into tiny back rooms while squeezed 3 or 4 people at tiny tables, made to wait while servers took care of regular customers at the restaurant. Florence has so much amazing food to offer for affordable prices, book a Michelin quality restaurant for $85-$125, and avoid this tour.

Nice tour through nice neighborhood
The tour was delightful. Our guide Elena showed us some really nice local neighborhood spots and told us all about the food and the culture.

Ricardo did a great job of combining history of Portugal combined with the food tour. Great personality and very knowledgeable of the food and the area.

What a great night. Sara was an amazing guide. Food, wine and company was amazing. Not sure of the highlight ... Johnny making the Negronis or Sara chasing off a drunk who attacked one of our party. Great fun, great food, amazing wine and just about the very best guide. Sara you did us proud

Miguel was awesome! He was friendly and flexible, and was able to add a person to our tour at the last minute, which was greatly appreciated. He kept an easy pace but didn't waste time. I came for the food - which didn't disappoint - but stayed for the culture. Miguel gave us tidbits on the history of Portugal, the food, the peoples, the earthquake, the sea, which all added toy appreciation for what we tasted. I 100% recommend!

Food and canal tour
Great tour, Paul shared alot of information. Loved the boat ride, good food- pea soup, mini pancakes plus more. Would definitely recommend this tour.

A wonderful tour hosted by Serena who is a very knowledgeable guide. She took time to explain the history of the food and wines we tasted together with the history of the region.

Very good guide and very informative and enjoyed all of the food samples. We went back the next day to one of the establishments for apple pie.
