Climbing to food heaven!

Let me start by saying that when nothing is ventured, nothing is gained. This tour rewards the effort to climb the steps (and there are many!) to get to the last restaurants. It is more than worth every step. I will not speak of the food and drinks in any specific way (with one exception) as the great joy of this tour is each revelation. The important thing to know is that it is true ro its description. As a lone visitor, your chances of stumbling onto even one of these experiences is almost zero. And yet… This tour has *five* different stops, each with wonderful things to eat and drink. The last one, for the dessert course, serves a traditional pastry you see in almost every window in the touristy areas. Their version is a masterpiece of the art. The flavor and texture dance on your tongue. Our guide, Amanda was wonderful. Her knowledge and love of Portuguese food and culture guide you through not only the city, but the history, the why of it all. I highly recommend that, if you love food (and are willing to step out of some comfort zones) you take this tour. Lisbon is a lovely city. But, for me, it is a food town, bursting with delicious opportunity. In just a few hours, this tour is a great way to experience just how great a city it is.

This tour was excellent. There were five people on the tour with one guide. It was at a good pace. The tour was well organized with tables and/or food reserved. There was minimal wait time for food. The food was delicious and unlike the ones on social media. Highly recommend.

Worth it!!

This tour was amazing. Carlos gave us a lot of information. Definitely try to get him as your guide . He offered a variety of food, tastings and experience, and you will see parts of Lisbon that you would not do on your own. Come hungry. The food tastings curated is very diverse and offers the best of Lisbon. Definitely recommend this tour. There is a reason for the 5 star reviews. And Carlos definitely is the big reason

A must do!! So much fun!

We had such an incredible experience on this Lisbon food tour! Our guide, Fred, was absolutely amazing, so friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared so many interesting facts about Lisbon that really added to the whole experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish. I even tried octopus for the first time (something I never thought I would do!) and I’m so glad I did—it ended up being my favorite dish of the entire tour! We were also lucky to have such a wonderful group. There were so many laughs along the way, which made the experience even more special. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re so happy we decided to do it. Highly recommend!
