Food and History of London with our guide Pip!

My wife and I recently had the absolute pleasure of embarking on the "Eating Europe" food tour during our honeymoon. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, delightful, and incredibly informative, largely thanks to our fantastic guide, Pip. Pip was great!  Nice, enthusiastic and started our tour right on time. He effortlessly wove fascinating stories and historical facts into our journey, making each stop not just a tasting opportunity but a truly enriching experience. Our adventure took us to some truly iconic and charming establishments. We started at the historic Ye Olde Watling, soaking in the traditional pub atmosphere. Next, we went to Sweetings, a classic seafood restaurant. We went to the The Royal Exchange, and the  London's Roman Amphitheatre at the Guildhall Art Gallery. We went to other places as well.  Each location offered a unique glimpse into London's past and present, coupled with delicious bites and drinks that perfectly showcased the city's diverse food landscape. These tours are only as good as your tour guide. Pip ensured everyone felt comfortable, answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm, and made sure we had ample time to enjoy each location. We highly recommend the "Eating Europe" tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have Pip as your guide.

An amazing trip - a must when in Porto.

What a wonderful day. From start to finish this tour was amazing. Goncalo, our guide was excellent, fluent English, funny and so knowledgeable. The food and port wine were really good and the day flowed so well. We met 5 lovely ladies from New York and very much enjoyed getting to know them as well as G. He read the room perfectly and allowed us time to chat over our food and wine which was lovely. We did not finish the tour until gone 3pm. A perfect day and worth every penny. Easy way to see the city of Lisbon in a short country of time

Cate was an amazing tour guide! 10/10 recommend! Great food and drinks and great views of Lisbon. Need to have good walking shoes ans empty stomachs to enjoy this experience!

Disappointed

We rebooked to the 5:00 PM tour for the same day. It looked like we were led to a different route of restaurants. I had to say we were disappointed at the food tastings. None of the Dutch specialties we heard of l(such as raw herring and kibbeling) were included. Our tour guide Paul was interesting, knowledgeable about local culture and cuisine, and quite friendly, which we were grateful. However I regretted picking this tour so won’t recommend it because the food we tasted didn’t worth the amount we paid for and the 3 hours of time we spent.. We went to the Albert Cuyp the next day where we tasted all the local specialties in a manageable pace and a reasonable deal.

Great tour around the city

Tour guide Lorna was amazing! She did great adding historical context to the food and very accommodating of everyone on the tour! Food choices were also good.

Great introduction to Prague

My husband and I along with my young adult daughter did this tour on our first night in Prague. Marketa did a great job explaining the foods, the people , the history and the culture of not only Prague but all of the Czech Republic. I love this part of the local food tours Ive done in other cities but this was by far the best. We ate the following day at another one of Marketa's suggested restaurants and it was fabulous and nit full of tourists. We would definitely recommend this tour as something to introduce to the foods and drinks of the country.

Yummy Amsterdam Afternoon

Aileen was wonderful and very knowledgeable about food and also the history of Amsterdam. She was very patient with my kids and gave us a happy afternoon together!

Best food tour in Amsterdam!

Excellent 3 hour walk & food tour through a beautiful and historic part of Amsterdam. Elena was very personable and engaging. She patiently waited for an individual that ended up not showing up but we, in the group, were good with waiting. She made sure we were ok with waiting, she did not rush through the tour and made sure to chat with each individual member of our group as we walked. She shared several delicious dishes and drinks with the group while telling us about the culinary history of Amsterdam. My wife & I were very glad we added this tour to our schedule while we traveled through parts of Europe.

Don’t Miss This Porto Food Tour with Diogo!

We had an amazing time on our progressive food tour in Porto with Diogo R. It felt less like a tour and more like a night out with a great friend who knows the city inside and out. Diogo was knowledgeable, funny, and chose dishes that truly captured the essence of Porto. His entertaining stories gave each stop so much color and context—we were learning, laughing, and eating incredibly well the whole time. If you want to experience Porto’s food scene through the eyes of a true local, Diogo R is your guy.

Luanda is an excellent guide, great explainer and knowledgeable. Very enjoyable walk receiving information on significant landmarks while sampling local cuisine.
